As most of my site guests know, I was born in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains of North Georgia. As most Americans, my racial background is varied. As far as I have been able to ascertain, I am primarily Welsh with a bit of Cherokee thrown in (from my mother's side). Several years ago I sought to uncover my family history. I spent a lot of time at the Hall of Records in Atlanta Georgia tracing my family roots through Kalamazoo Michigan and then back to Pembroke shire Wales U.K. In time I got as far back as Cadifor ap Colwyn (a.k.a. Cadifor Vawr, 'Cadifor the Great'), Lord of Dyfed (Pembrokeshire) and one of the 15 ancient Peers of Wales. I have been unable to get beyond him and am uncertain of his birth dates or age at the time of his death, in 1089 C.E. What is obvious, is that he was a member of the Old Welsh Religion and was devoted to the Gracious Goddess (probably Gwen Note #1; Note #2). I have adopted his name as my own when working within the Old Religion as a tie to time's past. While meditating on him and my relationship to him, I experienced the following exploit.
