The Nazarene Minority

As time passed and Gentiles (some with the best of intentions, others who were there to intentionally alter and destroy the Nazarene Jewish Movement) with little or no Torah knowledge gained authority in the emerging new "Church" that was then overshadowing the Way, the Nazarene doctrines of Y'shua were gradually replaced by a new Pagan-based globalist religion. This new religion has little in common with the Judaism of Adon Y'shua and his talmidim. In this section we will take a closer look at how the Nazarene Jewish Way was replaced by the Universal Church and what differences this made to the Way taught by Y'shua the Nazarene.

The Rise of the Universal Church

First the terms:

Catholic: From the Greek katholikos or "universal" (and brought into Latin as catholicus). Catholicism was established to be the sole global (universal) religion to be observed by all people on earth under the authority of Rome.
Church: The word translated as church is used in the Greek B'rit Hadashah or New Testament writings:

In the Bible the word is first used at Matthew 16:18: "... and upon this rock I will build my church [ekkle'sia: "ek-klay-see'-ah"]." This common Greek term is used in two ways: As kuriakē oikia or "house of the Lord" and as ekklēsia kuriakē meaning "congregation of the Lord," so the word refers simultaneously to both the place where Believers meet as well as to the Believers themselves as the "Body of the Anointed Ones" (or Body of Christ). Both usages are correct and both apply to the modern idea of "the Church" (despite what groups like the Church of Christ teach).

The common English word translated from ekkle'sia as "church" comes from the Old English word cirice which is taken from the Germanic kirika (or kirche) which in turn is taken from the Greek kuriake' which means "of the Lord" (or "the Lord's property"). Hence the Church is "the possession of the Lord" and again comes from the Greek, not the Hebrew which is so often the case. Imbued in this word are many catholic associations that are not necessarily biblical, hence many Nazarenes shy away from its usage.

As Hebrews and devout Jews Adon Y'shua and his initial talmidim would not have used the term to describe themselves. Again however as discussed in the previous section, the Greek New Testament text is what we have to go by so it is wise to avoid extremist positions on linguistic purity. As is so often case, balance is called for.

The history of the early (Roman) Universal ("Catholic") Church is replete with stories of Pagan priests, Nicolaitan bishops and theologians and politicians bitterly debating every conceivable point of doctrine with each other and with "Arian" Nazarenes who were contending earnestly for the faith (Jude 1:3) until their voices were silenced (note that Arianism refers to the original Nazarene views of Y'shua as championed by Bishop Arius; the term has nothing to do with views of Aryan racial supremacy).

As discussed in the previous section the determinations of the Nicolaitan Papacy were eventually canonized as mandatory doctrine for all Catholics. Catholicism was declared the One True and Apostolic Universal Church. Unapproved beliefs were pronounced illegal and after a while those holding them were severely punished and even killed.

Between the late first and early fourth centuries C.E. (i.e. A.D., of our common era) everything was open for debate among the conflicting sects of the Nazarene Jewish Movement. Nazarenes, Nicolaitans, Gnostics, Essenes, Mandaeans (the followers of Yochanan the Immerser/John the Baptist), overt Pagan and others openly competed for their doctrines to be accepted as the Noahide norm... and for converts. In the end, by the authority of the Roman Empire itself, the Nicolaitans (Revelation 2:6, 15) were successful and established their religiously consolidated views as "Catholic Christianity" (Universal Christianity).

Politically motivated counsels of powerful Catholic bishops decreed with the authority of "the Mother Church" (a Pagan term if ever there was one) what was to be accepted as approved dogma and doctrine and what was to be regarded as apostasy. Their rulings were established as Divine Tradition of the Catholic Magisterium and hence sacrosanct. All who rejected their rulings were viewed as heretics.

Once the Church's authority was established the various councils were little more than think-tanks to determine how the new synthesis religion would be structured. The debates held by the various Catholic councils were not interested in determining what the Tanakh and writings of the B'rit Hadashah taught, but on the political connections of the arbiters of the various doctrines and how best to expand the Church's authority over the masses. With practically every ruling they made the bishops moved farther away from the Nazarene Way of Adon Y'shua.

The Judaism of the P'rushim (Pharisees) and Tz'dukim (Sadducees) had been criticized by Adon Y'shua for being so tradition laden but now the Way/Church was even more stifled by human tradition than they had ever been! Every point of doctrine was dictated from on high and beyond discussion.

To attract the Pagans innumerable anti-biblical doctrines were interspersed with biblical truths in a bid to be all things to all people ("catholic"). Pagan customs and traditions were added from across the Roman world and beyond while the Papacy declared the carefully crafted theological collage inspired by God. Catholicism became a house of cards, remove one and the entire edifice might collapse so dissent was not tolerated. The Vatican established itself as the only authorized global (catholic: catholicus: Latin for universal) religion. Accept their rulings or be sent to the Pagan god Hades for eternal punishment! Never mind that Hades is not a biblical character, the Church declared him and his domain real, so they were!

Constantine the Great

As the Councils of Catholic Bishops extended their authority the community of Believers largely conformed to the developing new doctrines. By this point there was so much confusion and violence that most Nazarenes wanted peace as much as anything. With the Movement's authority now centered in Roman power the persecutions, for a time at least, ended. The Gnostics were effectively silenced and there was now a universal "Daddy" (Pope) to tell people what to believe and what to reject.

Following the alleged conversion of Constantine the Great the Roman Empire came to be regarded as the Kingdom of God on Earth. Faith was replaced by obedience, reason by authority. Now the new doctrines were enforced by Roman Law (but no longer by God's Law) and the persecutions returned, but from a slightly different source. Opposing the Bishops meant opposing God and opposing God meant opposing Rome and that, as before, would not be tolerated.

The Roman persecution of the Nazarenes was gradually replaced by the Roman Catholic persecution of apostates and Judaizers, of Witches, of Druids and other unrepentant Pagans and infidels. As long as one submitted to the Church there was peace, but oppose it and experience the wrath of the Inquisitions. It was much easier (and safer) to embrace the New Religion of Christianity than to oppose Rome and so most Nazarenes and most Pagans submitted to Papal power!

Sol Invictus and the Papal Cross

In 312 C.E. during his famous battle for control of Rome against Maxentius, Constantine -- the mighty warlord who became Caesar Flavius Valerius Aurelius Constantinus Augustus (lived circa February 27, 272 – May 22, 337) -- a devout worshiper of Mithras Sol Invictus (the Roman sun god) until the day he died, claimed to have had a vision of Y'shua. Constantine claimed that Adon Y'shua had appeared to him in the heavens, enshrouded by the Sun (sacred emblem of Sol) and ordered him to "fight and conquer" under the sign of the Chi-Rho (a form of the ancient Pagan cross). To the right you see a Roman coin embossed with this Pagan symbol. Adon Y'shua of course died on a stake (a starous) according to the Bible, not on a cross.

For Pagans the cross represents the crossroads, to opportunity to take a new direction. The symbol was used to signify that one has arrived at an opportune moment of decision and as an augury of good fortune and success if the correct fork is taken.

This Iesus (Jesus) who appeared to Constantine was presumably the Adon Y'shua of the Bible; the same Y'shua who ordered his followers to turn the other cheek when struck, the same Y'shua who ordered Peter to put away his sword, 'because those who live by the sword will die by it', the same Y'shua who declined repeated requests to take up the sword and lead Israel as a Warrior Messiah, and who said 'My kingdom is not of this world'....

This Adon Y'shua, according to this Pagan warlord, now ordered Gentile Pagans to fight, kill and conquer in his name!

Anyone besides me see anything wrong with this claim?Does anyone see some similarity between Constantine and Muhammad? -- I'm just saying...

As discussed before, Yochanan the Immerser and Adon Y'shua offered the Kingdom to the Jews but their elders refused to repent and thus receive it. Now we are to believe that a Torah ignorant worshiper of the Roman Sun god was awarded the Kingdom of the God of Israel?

Despite the obvious absurdity of his claim victors write the history books.

The fact that Constantine remained a worshiper of the Mithraic Roman sun god Sol Invictus until the day he died apparently changes nothing for most Christians because he won the wars and he wielded the power! Today as then most Christians accept Constantine's account of Iesus' ordination of him. Most accept it as an established fact that the God of the Bible wanted to elevate the Nazarene Way (or its replacement, the Nicene Church) to political power and did so with by the might of a Roman Pagan warlord!

In this generally accepted foundational story most Christians accept the claim that "Jesus" decided to fundamentally alter his doctrines, to nullify the Torah which he said would never pass away (Matthew 5:18), to severe his Movement's tenuous remaining ties with Judaism (indeed to outlaw it), and to create the Catholic Church and government. And it is all based on Constantine's unsubstantiated claim that Iesus appeared to him in the form of a Pagan religious icon! An icon that now hangs upon the wall of almost every Christian church on earth and around the necks of untold millions of Believers... because an unconverted Pagan warlord said so.

Seemingly all the fourth century Believers could see was the end of the periodic persecutions they faced. Little did the Nazarenes suspect the persecutions the new Church would wage against those who remained faithful to Y'shua!

Countless but unknown numbers of Jewish and Noahide Nazarenes converted/returned to traditional Rabbinic Judaism (there was no "Orthodox Judaism" yet) during this period rather than accept the heresies being established by Constantine and his councils. Records are sketchy but provide some evidence that Judaism took in more converts during this period than during any other single period in its history (converts were required at a minimum to verbally reject Y'shua as Mashiach). Other Nazarenes outwardly conformed to the New Religion but covertly maintained their faith in the Way. Among these, fears of Papal persecution kept them from teaching their children the Way doctrines and so within a generation these people mainly ceased to be a factor within the Church, their children embracing Catholicism.

Most Nazarenes (and most Pagans) however entered the Catholic Church submissively and accepted Rome's authority and anomos (Torah denying). Adon Y'shua's teachings were falling by the wayside, replaced by the Nicolaitan Heresies of Rome's designs just as John the Apostle had warned in Revelation chapters two and three.

Nicea and Codification of Nicene Christianity

Under the sway of this new all inclusive governmental and ecclesiastical hierarchy the Nazarenes were largely silenced as Vatican authorities codified and mandated heretical doctrines in their councils: such as those held at Nicaea in May of 325.

These apostate counsels and closed-door sessions canonized new heresies as official Church and political doctrine. It must have seemed to the Nazarene Believers as though a wild beast had been set free in the congregations of the faithful. And because of Constantine this beast had the claws to enforce its edicts! From this point on dissent was not only "heretical," it was suicidal!

The Nicene Creed

The Nicene Creed appears in slightly different forms (and of courses languages). The Creed is usually just called the "Nicene Creed" but it is also known as the Niceno-Constantinopolitan Creed, after its origin in the first two Church ecumenical Councils in 325 and 381. Here's the official Catholic version of the Creed in English as found in the Handbook of Prayers edited by James Socias:

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation, he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered, died, and was buried. On the third day he rose again in fulfillment of the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
Amen.

This Creed establishes the basis of Nicene Christian religion. Those who depart from its teachings on any point are not accepted as "Christians" according to the majority of Christian denominations. Several of its points are biblically heretical:

Biblical Objections to the Creed:

... the only Son of God: This is interpreted in terms of the common Pagan idea that the gods and goddesses take birth on the earth to interact with humans. It does not mean "son" is the standard sense. There is no biblical support for such an interpretation of the word son.
... eternally begotten of the Father: This does not even make sense. "Eternally begotten"? The reason for this is the clear statement of Colossians 1:15 that Y'shua is "the firstborn of every creature." If this is true he has a beginning and can not be God.
... God from God... true God from true God,: Torah says: "Hear O Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One"... not two (nor three). This is biblically heretical.
... begotten, not made: I discussed this word begotten earlier and demonstrate that means he was made as the prototype for the rest of creation. Again, this is added to nullify the biblical presentation.
... one in Being with the Father: Again an utter contradiction of the biblical doctrines as I discussed Here.
... his kingdom will have no end: By this the Creed means "the Church" will have no end. The Bible says otherwise, but the "Kingdom" will have no end.

... We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord: The Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) is not "the Lord" and is not a "Person." The Ruach Hakodesh is the Spirit Presence of HaShem, not a third god nor an "emanation" of a Trinity.
... the giver of life: ONLY HaShem gives life.
... who proceeds from the Father and the Son: The Ruach HaKodesh is not a Person and does not "proceed" from the Father. It is the Presence of the Father. Nor does it proceed from Y'shua in ANY fashion. God's Holy Presence is His own. The translation of the Spirit as "He" is a matter of (inaccurate) interpretation and style, not of translation. This clause is sheer blasphemy biblically speaking.
... With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified: The Bible could not be more clear on this heresy: Isaiah 42:8 I am YHVH, that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another... The Son is NOT to be worshiped. ONLY God is to be worshiped according to the Bible.
... One church... one baptism...: The problem is with what is meant doctrinally by this, not by the words themselves. They are claiming that the One Church is the Vatican and the One Baptism is done by their priests (who do not even do biblical baptisms) -- Others who accept the creed interpret this to mean those who accept the creed and who are "saved."

Almost all segments of the Christian Church use this creed and consider it to be the standard of their faith. When Christians speak of retuning to "First Century Christianity" or to "the Second Chapter of Acts Church" they invariably do so maintaining this unbiblical creed as their touch stone. With this as the foundation there is no way to return to biblical religion.Those who wish to walk the historic Nazarene Way reject this creed and the unbiblical doctrines it proclaims.

It is clear from the surviving documents that Constantine was far more concerned about establishing political unity and expediency than doctrinal purity. He was building an empire not the Kingdom of Y'shua.

It is said that Emperor Constantine once bowed to an idol of the sun god (Sol Invictus) presumably thinking it was Master Y'shua (the Catholic appearance of Jesus is almost identical with that of Sol). Even calling him "the Son of God" rings of the Sun God. When his supposed error was pointed out Constantine replied, "What's the difference?" and continued worshiping the idol. The truth was that Constantine's conversion was a matter of political expediency, as we will discuss below. Sol Invictus the Mithraic sun god was Constantine's master and deity, not HaShem and that never changed!

The obvious modern day parallel with Islam's claim that its god Hubal-Sin is really HaShem needs not be discussed here. We considered this earlier in this study and will return to it again below.

Rome and Constantinople

During these formative years of papal development religious debate, political intrigue, betrayal and wrangling of all kinds raged between the bishops of Rome and those headquartered at Constantinople, the two lead centers of the One Universal Church. Despite Constantine's intention of establishing a one-world government and universal religion, external and internal factors warred ceaselessly against that proposed unity. According to Constantine Iesus (Y'shua) had promised success but that success never came (which confirms that Y'shua did not say these things in the first place!).

Even as the Roman Empire was eventually divided East and West and then fragmented, so too was the one "Holy and Apostolic Catholic Church." The Orthodox Churches of the East and the Roman or Western Catholic Churches eventually split.

The two main 'straws that broke the episcopal camel's back" so to speak were the issues of "filioque" (A debate over whether to use leavened or unleavened bread for the Eucharist) and the Pope's (i.e. the Bishop of Rome's) claim to wield universal jurisdiction as Vicar of Christ (from the Latin Vicarius Christi). This claim sought to overturn the established policy of relative Pentarchy (co-rule by the heads of five major patriarchates or episcopal sees).

Previously the Churches of the Roman Empire were delegated to the ruling bishops of the region: Rome, Constantinople, Alexandria, Antioch, and Jerusalem. Now the Bishop of Rome proclaimed himself heir to the Throne of Saint Peter (an unbiblical concept) and Ultimate Potentate of the entire Church (in open defiance of I Timothy 2:5). How, Pope Leo argued, could the One Church have more than One head? He proclaimed himself to be the One and only Pope (papa) of the world.

Once the split was finalized Rome excommunicated the Eastern churches and they effectively excommunicated Rome and its churches (although the East continues to accept Rome as a legitimate patriarchate). Each patriarchate claimed to be an equal member in "the original church built by Jesus." The non-Roman Eastern Churches continued to recognize the others and are today commonly known as the Eastern Orthodox Catholic Church, although Constantinople has always been given deference.

This "Great Schism" was long in the making, its currents had been evident for many years before the split between the Eastern (Greek) and Western (Latin) branches of the One Apostolic Church finally became official in 1054 in part due to the ravages both sides suffered at the hands of the Islamic Ummah.

In 1054, Roman Catholic legates sent by Pope Leo IX traveled east. They formally demanded the Patriarch of Constantinople, Michael Cerularius, cease from using Greek and to embrace Latin as the official Church language. They also, on the authority of Pope Leo IX, denied Cerularius the title "Ecumenical Patriarch." The leading Eastern Patriarch was ordered, on pain of excommunication, to recognize the Church of Rome's claim as the head patriarchate and Mother Church of the world. Cerularius refused and was officially (from Rome's perspective) excommunicated.

Ecumenical Patriarch Cerularius responded to this affront by excommunicated Cardinal Humbert and the other legates sent by Pope Leo IX and effectively cutting the East off from the Western Church.

To this day both of these 4th century created branches of the Nicene Church claims to be the original Church established by their Iesus. Both considers the other to be in rebellion to Christ. This of course is but a very brief overview of the Great Schism. Volumes could and have been written.

Neither was Established by Y'shua

For our purposes as Nazarenes, it is enough to understand that neither of these patriarchates was the original church established by Y'shua because Adon Y'shua did not establish a new religion (John 4:22)!

While understanding the history and traditions of these two early Nicolaitan denominations is very important, it is even more important to realize that Adon Y'shua was Jewish and that he reformed Judaism. He did not begin a new religion.

The Nazarene Way predates all forms of Catholicism by 300 plus years because it reflects the Jewish teachings of Adon Y'shua rather than those of Constantine and his ecumenical Councils. The Way actually dates back even earlier to the days after Noach Avinu left the ark and embraced the Noahide Covenant by which HaShem began his work of restoring humanity.

While there were a few doctrinal differences (the use of icons verses statues, leavened verses unleavened bread, etc) the Great Schism was mainly the result of human greed, the lack of communication methods of the day and various political power plays. Neither the Eastern nor Western Catholic Church has ever displayed any interest whatsoever in removing Paganism from their dogmas and traditions nor in restoring the abandoned Torah nor the teachings of Adon Y'shua.

Indeed by the point of the Great Schism most bishops and priests had no idea what Y'shua had even taught. Christianity had become Christendom, a great and powerful human construct. The only real question was what kind of Nicolaitan structure was preferable, Eastern or Western.

But God is merciful and the truth remains within the Church, even though it is at times concealed by Nicene doctrine. Despite the influx of unbiblical doctrines, political wranglings and ecclesiastical confusion many people continue to sincerely believe. They cry out humbly to the God of their understanding and He responds, giving comfort and strength to go on. God is not a Book, a church, a dogma... God is alive and He inhabits the praise of His people (Ephesians 1:12-14).

The Nicolaitan Heresies Refined

Power struggles and diverse doctrinal and political debates shook the Church to its foundations. Two men typify these inner-Church struggles: Saint Nicholas of Myra and Bishop Arius.

Saint Nicolas of Myra

While the origin of the term "Nicolaitan" is uncertain and doubtless was in use prior to the days of the historic Nicolas of Myra (270 – December 6, 346) this Catholic leader is the very embodiment of the concept and hence worth briefly considering here.

The "Nicolaitan Heresy" (referenced directly in the Book of Revelation: chapters 2 and 3 and indirectly by Paul and others in the New Testament writings) lives on today. One of its chief architects is remembered in the myths of Santa Claus, "Old Nick" or "the Stranger."

As we touched on when discussing the origins of the Merovingian Order Old Nick is another moniker of Heylel or Lucifer.

Old Nick: God of the Merovingians and the Nephilim

"Nick" or Old Nick is a well-known appellation of the devil and has been used as such for centuries as most dictionaries and studies on folklore will readily demonstrate. For instance:

The name Nick is related to and derived from the Dutch word Nikken or Devil. The word Nikken stems from the Anglo-Saxon nac-an meaning "to slay." Old Nick is the ruler and god of the Merovingians and the source of their bestea Neptuni Quinotauri similis who, as discussed in part 3 is related to Oannes and Atargati, Dagon, Venus and the Mer People -- which emerged from the Hebrew Nef-eel (from the root naw-fal) or Nephilim.

In other words, the Merovingians who rule the Earth emerged from the Nef-eel and worship the Nikken.

These connections are not coincidental. In the areas around Bavaria (home of the Bavarian Illuminati and seat of Merovingian power) there is a river spirit named "Neck," "Nikke," or "Nokke." This nature spirit/demon is of the same family of nature spirits as the Celtic Water Kelpie (supernatural water horses). These spirits are directly related to the Merman of Triton and elsewhere and arise from the Babylonian gods Oannes and Atargati, the Philistine Dagon and the Greek Venus and so on, demonstrating again the ancient interconnections that exist throughout the European Royals with their gods and nature spirits to the ancient Canaanites stemming back to the gods of Babylon before the global flood and back still further the initial challenge of Heylel (Lucifer).

God has His people and lineage and Heylel has his!

The Merovingian Global Elite

As discussed previously in this study, the Merovingian Global Elite trace their roots to Merovech (Meroveus or Merovius in Latin and Mérovée in French), the founder of the Salian Frankish Merovingian dynasty. According to their traditions, Merovech was born of a sea god after his mother was raped by a "bestea Neptuni Quinotauri similis."

Mero is the root word of mermaid (and mermen) and directly references their father as "Neck," "Nikke," or "Nokke", which is to say, as "Old Nick" or Lucifer/Heylel in the guise of a quinotaur, which is to say, a five-horned sea bull that "fell to earth" with the Seed Givers of the Star Children (i.e. the Nephilim and the Rapha referenced in the Holy Scriptures).

According to many of the Dark Prophecies the Rex Mundi (Global Potentate known as Antichrist to Christians) will arise from and lead the Merovingians. Under his banner the Merovingian Elite will establish the New Order of the Ages (the Novus Ordo Seclorum which will follow the victory of the current Novus Ordo Mundi or New World Order). Hence, Old Nick is the actual god of the Merovingians and father of the Nicolaitane Heresy and father of the coming global dictator.

Babylon the Great

The Nicolaitan Heresy, by whatever name, is a movement that has been carefully concealed and developed within the heart of the Nicean Church, unbeknown to the vast majority of Christians, by the Merovingian Elite from as early as the late Second Century CE. That movement established much of what today is accepted as standard Christian dogma.

Babylon the Great ("That Woman Jezebel": Revelation 2:20) will be the organized, global structure that will arise from this centuries-long endeavor finally realized under the authority of Rex Mundi (the Antichrist). Nicolas of Myra and others established a church within the church, an inner cabal known only to an elite few by which they lead the outer church and orchestrated the plan of Old Nick.

Of course had this Inner Sanctum of power been revealed the mislead believers would have rebelled and so a nicer, more Catholic face was developed for public consumption.

Nicholas, Bishop of Myra and Lord of Bari

"Nicholas the Wonder Worker" as he was known was born in Parara, Turkey in 270 CE and died December 5th or 6th, 346. He was said to be a very kind and generous man who often left secreted gifts for the poor (especially children) with the aid of companions like Zwarte Piet (described as "a black skinned servant"), Knecht Ruprecht ("a bearded farm hand"), Krampus ("an incubus-like horned creature"), der Wilde Mann ("an unhorned incubus known simply as "the wild man") and a host of other non-biblical Pagan characters. These surviving beliefs testify to the truth that older traditions were incorporated into the story of Saint Nick early on. The myths surrounding Saint Nick are repositories of the older Pagan gods. Nicholas himself was no saint as we will see!

According to tradition the people in his area left their shoes out on their porches and Nicholas would often leave coins in them. This is the origin of Santa, the Christmas stockings and his gifts for good boys and girls. The claim that he has a list and checks it twice was no idyll threat to expectant children!

The usually covert Nicolaitan elements within the Nicean Church developed Santa's popular persona as the public facade of their icon and elder member, Saint (Santa) Nicholas for their own purposes (even though Nicholas was not formally declared a saint until the 19th century). There is evidence suggesting than many of Nicholas' followers considered him to be a divine incarnation. Santa developed as an iconographic tool, a way to appease the peasants and assure obedience to the Mother Church and to encourage their tacit worship of Old Nick.

As the Catholic Church was absorbing the various religions of the Empire into its Universal structure they sought to create a religion that had enough elements of all the diverse systems to be acceptable to as many people as possible. By incorporating these images and traditions many Northern Europeans came into the Universal Church.

While Old Nick's demonic companions are largely unknown in the US, they are still widely honored in the Netherlands and elsewhere as nature-spirit assistants to Sinterklaas.

Sinterklaas' name comes from the Dutch word sinter (cinder) and offers a hint of Old Nick's true identity. He emerges from the sintel or cinders of the mythical regions of Hades (Hell) along with his demonic assistants. Just enough goodness was added to the myth to have it be accepted but the truth lies just under the surface. The real Nicholas was not the jolly saint depicted but rather a determined Nicolaitan co-conspirator intent on destroying the Nazarene Way and replacing it with the worship of Heylel!

Nicholas, Nicea and the Nicolaitan Heresy

There was much more to "Nicholas the Wonder worker" than a simple Catholic priest and lover of children!

Nicholas of Myra was also one of the senior bishops who convened the Council of Nicaea in 325 CE in order to establish the dogmas of the new Universal Church. Nicholas was instrumental in the editing, reworking and the eventual canonization of what is known today as the New Testament ... As well as the willful destruction of all the original documents from which it was derived (or perhaps with concealing them in the Vatican vaults). It is because of Nicholas and his Papal associates that we have no original New Testament documents to compare. Saint Nick placed a huge lump of coal in the world's stocking!

With others, Nicholas created the Nicean Creed (discussed above) that effectively blended Paganism with the teachings of the Nazarene Way and forever severed the Way taught by Adon Y'shua from its Jewish roots.

This means that a high ranking member of the Nicean Counsel became the very embodiment of Old Nick (Heylel/Lucifer) and the benefactor of Christian children worldwide! Nicene Christian children by the billions the world over sit in Old Nick's lap asking for favors rather than looking to Adon Y'shua, our mediator with HaShem! Is it any wonder that Santa Claus has become the real "reason for the season"! All the moreso when one understands that there is no way Y'shua was born in December!

Despite the spread of Pagan heresies within the Church some Believers continued to resist the Nicolaitans. As the Papal Bishops would establish some anomos (anti-Torah) doctrine the "members of the loyal opposition" would seek to counter it hoping to bring the Church closer to biblical religion.

"Mother Mary"

For example throughout this period there were heated debates between Pagan and biblical proponents regarding Y'shua's mother Miryam. The Nicolaitans, wanting to appease the goddess worshipers of the Empire, would elevate her status as a near-goddess figure known as Theotokos or "Mother of God" (a truly blasphemous notion!). The defenders of Y'shua's doctrine would respond by using their influence to restore Miryam's biblical nature as a pious teenager espoused to Yosef and blessed by God with the privilege of bearing and raising the holy child.

Miryam was a completely human girl (probably in her mid-teens when Y'shua was born. The birth was miraculous as Miryam was still a virgin at the point of conception until after the birth, however she and Yosef later had children by normal methods. I discussed this in more detail previously.

Today according to the Catholic Church Miryam has become a virtual goddess. She is officially described by the Church as "ever-virgin" meaning that she never had sexual intercourse throughout her entire life even though the New Testament directly says otherwise.

Miryam is said to be "immaculately conceived" -- i.e. born without the original sin passed down from Adam to all humans -- as taught by the Catholic doctrine of Original sin. The Bible affords no support for this doctrine. Many non-Catholics misunderstand this concept. Its not that Mary was "virgin born" like her son according to the Catholic Church, but that God miraculously blocked the transmission of the sin nature from her so that she could in turn give birth to her sinless son. It is likely (but not certain) that this notion of Immaculate Conception was the result of negotiations concerning Y'shua's birth. While the Church decided on a complete virgin birth for the son, the idea of God blocking the transmission of original sin was still popular and so the idea was passed on to Miryam's conception. Again, nothing in the Bible supports the idea.

The Catholic Mary is described co-mediatrix with Jesus. According to official Catholic dogma it is not possible to receive salvation without going through "Mother Mary." It further is not possible to reach Mary without going through the Church. It is therefore ones relationship with the Church that determines ones salvation or lack thereof in direct violation of:

I Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Y'shua the Anointed.

Shema Yisrael Adonai Elohaynu Adonai Echad
"Hear O Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One"

But the central question the Nicolaitans and the Nazarenes battled over was the very nature of God Himself! The Nicene Creed sought to transform the One God of the Bible into a Triune Being like so many of the Pagan godheads throughout the Empire and beyond. As I wrote above: Power struggles and diverse doctrinal and political debates shook the Church to its foundations. Two men typify these inner-Church struggles: Saint Nicholas of Myra and Bishop Arius.

This is where we turn our attention to Bishop Arius and what has come to be known as Arianism.

Monarchianism, Arianism and the Judaizers

Note: "Arian" and "Arianism" must not be confused with the word "Aryan" (a racial category). The two words are completely unrelated.

Nicholas of Myra Slapping Bishop Arius

The Nicolaitan Bishop Nicholas and the Nazarene Bishop Arius (250 or 256 – 336) often confronted one another in the early days of the Roman Church. On one such occasion during the First Council of Nicea Nicholas physically assaulted Arius as he was explaining why the Council needed to honor the biblical truth of God's Oneness and reject the Nicolaitan deification of a human being.

Nicholas slapped Arius in the face, which was a violation of protocol. At first "Saint Nick" was reprimanded by the council for this outrage but several of his co-conspirators claimed that Iesus (Y'shua) and his Mother (Mary) had appeared to them in a vision vindicating the assault! Nicholas was restored and his influence spread all the more.

Nonetheless Bishop Arius, Bishop Eusebius of Nicomedia and many others continued to stand for the truth as best they could.

Note that Bishop Eusebius of Nicomedia (died 341) shared the monotheistic views of Bishop Arius. Like Arius, he was a pupil of Lucian of Antioch. Eusebius of Nicomedia was the priest who baptized Constantine. Not to be confused with Eusebius of Caesarea was bishop of Berytus (modern-day Beirut). He later became Bishop of Nicomedia where the imperial court resided in Bithynia, and finally became Bishop of Constantinople itself from 338 up to his death. And, he was an "Arian" or Monarchian.

Despite the common moniker "Arianism" the doctrine is completely biblical and was embraced by the Nazarenes from the beginning of the Way Movement. It is also known as Monarchianism (belief in the absolute Oneness of God).

Lucian of Antioch

Arius was a student of Lucian of Antioch (circa 240 – January 7, 312 C.E.) who was a celebrated "Arian" (Monarchian) Christian presbyter, theologian and martyr. Lucian was the the first head of the School (Didaskaleion) of Antioch. Lucian is an important figure for many reasons. Besides being the teacher and inspiration of Bishops Arius and Eusebius of Nicomedia, he is also commonly credited with a critical recension of the text of the Septuagint and the Greek New Testament.

His scribal works were later used by the "Greek fathers" and John Chrysostom (circa 349–407) who is so very important doctrinally to the (Eastern) Orthodox Church. This was confirmed by Jerome (although under pressure Jerome does later on speak disparagingly of Lucian). Lucian's works are also of vital importance to the Western Church because they established the textual basis of the Textus Receptus (Received texts) from which the King James Bible is translated.

The point, for our present purposes, is that Bishop Arius and his peers were doctrinally mainstream and that Constantine and his supporters were the heretics. It was the Nicolaitans not the "Arians" who altered the teachings of Adon Y'shua!

Lucian of Antioch was a student of Paul of Samosata (200 to 275 C.E.), Bishop of Antioch from 260 to 268. In 269 seventy bishops, priests and deacons met at Antioch and officially deposed Paul as bishop and excommunicated him. He continued to function as bishop however under his friend Zenobia's protection until the Romans took Palmyra in 272.

This is important to understand.

While we would prefer history be neat, with clean and precise edges it never is. Constantine for instance was building on foundations laid by others. Even before 70 C.E. when Jerusalem fell to the Romans the Nicolaitan heretics were working to reformulate the Way, as John tells us circa 95 C.E. in the Book of Revelation.

Likewise, from well before the days of Constantine men like Paul of Samosata were working to maintain the Way teachings. The fierce and often absurd attacks made by the Nicolaitan Bishops against Paul of Samosata testifies to his influence as a preserver of the Nazarene Way in opposition to the Nicolaitans.

These devout Nazarenes were not teaching some new doctrine as even the heretics themselves acknowledge. Eusebius (HE V.XXVII) for example charges that Paul of Samosata "attempted to revive" the heresy of Artemon. This heresy teaches "that the Saviour was a mere man." One "revives" that which has already existed but has waned (or been forced to) and so even in his rejection Eusebius acknowledges the truth of Paul of Samosata's work.

Trinitarians like Constantine, Nicholas of Mira, Athanasius and others used the name "Arianism" as an epithet and as a somber warning to all who held to the biblical doctrine of Y'shua's humanity and who refused to submit to the Nicolaitan heresies and the authority of developing Mother Church. Emperor Constantine -- the lifelong worshiper of Sol Invictus as discussed before -- personally ordered the destruction all of Bishop Arius' writings (and those that agreed with him). The Nicolaitans deluged the literate Catholic public with deceitful diatribes against the popular Bishop and other Nazarenes and severely persecuted those who held to biblical religion as "Judaizers."

Biblical truth is not so easily defeated however and several Nazarene congregations existed across Europa, especially noted in various Gothic and Germanic kingdoms and across north Africa, that maintained the biblical truth of Y'shua's nature and HaShem's Oneness. This was the case at least until the fifth to seventh centuries when the Catholic Church became powerful enough to crush the Nazarenes by military conquest, general persecution and various forms of coercion.

As the essential Nicolaitan heresies were adopted by the Church during the early centuries many Nazarenes like Bishop Arius honorably resisted, many to the death. Despite what most believe, the Church did not always teach what it does today.

One of the fiercest doctrinal battlegrounds concerned the nature of Y'shua and the oneness of HaShem. The Gentiles who now controlled the Church knew little and cared even less about the Torah and Tanakh Y'shua accepted as the Word of God. They were building a religion and government based on their own interests.

As I explained before Here, the early Nazarenes believed that Adon Y'shua is unique among all created beings. While he is a truly great tzaddik or holy man and fully human, he is much more than that. He is "the Only Begotten" and "First Born Son" of HaShem (Colossians 1:15). There is none like him. Through him all else was created. He was not however, Nazarenes maintained then as today, the physical Incarnation of HaShem. Such a notion is biblically blasphemous and indefensible. Hindus, Roman Pagans and others have avatars or "divine incarnations" of their gods but Judaism, and more important the Torah, does not allow for such. Adonai is "Echad Elohiym" and shares His glory with no one. This was Avraham Avinu's great revelation as discussed previously and it is the foundational truth of all biblical religion.

The Nazarene's correctly held that only HaShem is God and that He is eternally One and absolutely unique, as the Shema declares:

Deuteronomy 6:4: Sh'ma Yisrael Adonai Elohaynu Adonai Echad:

"Hear, Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One."

This central Torah, Jewish, Noahide and Nazarene truth came to be known as Arianism in the Church, after Bishop Arius (250 or 256 – 336 C.E.), one of the Nazarene doctrine's principle proponents during the Pagan usurpation of the Way Movement. Bishop Arius' admirable attempts to preserve portions of the Nazarene faith were not successful however and Trinitarian partisans like Athanasius won the day and outlawed the central tenant of biblical religion.

If one wishes to define a moment in time when Christianity ceased to be a Jewish Movement the adoption of this heresy would be it. Arius was excommunicated from the Church (although later re-instated) and the Nicolaitans managed to deify their Iesus (Jesus) after the matter of the Roman sun god Sol Invictus and other Pagan Godheads.

During the formative years of the Nicene Church the Oneness of HaShem and the biblical Sonship of Iesus (Jesus/Y'shua) was embraced, then rejected, reconfirmed, rejected, reaffirmed... but eventually biblical truth was replaced with Pagan dogma. The Church rejected the biblically demanded Oneness of HaShem, elevated its Iesus to divinity, created a third god (called the Holy Ghost) and the Trinity dogma was set in stone, a doctrine utterly condemned by the Torah. The Nicolaitans had won.

While Bishop Arius was excommunicated by Bishop Peter of Alexandria in 311 for his correct rejection of the deity of Y'shua, he was reinstated 313 and made presbyter of the Baucalis district of Alexandria. His was a roller coaster career in defense of biblical doctrine. Ironically Arius is now accepted as a Catholic Saint (a Pagan-created Catholic declaration of certain humans as "demigods"). Some popes and bishops were "Arians" but most were not.

Arian Catholics include:

• Pope Liberius: Pope from May 17, 352 to September 24, 366
• Eusebius of Caesarea (c. 263–339), called Eusebius Pamphili (Bishop of Caesarea in Palestine about the year 314)
• Titus Flavius Clemens (aka Clement of Alexandria c.150 - c. 215)
• Bishop Eusebius of Nicomedia (died 341)
• Flavius Julius Constantius (August 7, 317 – November 3, 361)
• Paul of Samosata (200 to 275 C.E.), Bishop of Antioch from 260 to 268)
• Saint Lucian of Antioch (Student of Paul of Samosata, c. 240–January 7, 312), known as Lucian the Martyr, a noted Christian presbyter, theologian and martyr. He was celebrated for both his scholarship and ascetic piety
• John Milton (9 December 1608 – 8 November 1674)

The list is much longer of course, this is but an example of important Arian Believers within the Church.

While Rome and Constantinople largely held sway in their respective domains, Nicene Christians from both sides of the divide remained irreconcilable. What all the Nicene Christians had in common was their opposition to the so-called Judaizers or Nazarenes who refused to submit to the authority of the Nicolaitans and who maintained their beliefs in the Torah and the biblical Y'shua.

Still, amidst the continuing Church persecutions of the Nazarenes, Arians and Pagans, the Eastern and Western theologians continued their endless debates separately and, early on, jointly. These debates included several important topics, some as essential as determining if "Iesus" (they renamed Y'shua to something that sounded less Jewish as discussed previously: Iesus or "Jesus" means "Hail Zeus") was fully divine, fully human, or a mixture of God and man and what his role within the new Church would be (and where his mother, the alleged "divine Theotokos" should fit in). During this period many of the "Judaizers" still within the Church tried to preserve the original Bible-based teachings of Adon Y'shua's nature while the Nicolaitans were determined to redefine the teachings in order to establish the Nicolaitan Pagan-Christian synthesis through which to better rule the empire. Despite the biblical objections of men like Bishop Arius, the Nicolaitans were ultimately victorious.

Paganism: The Burning Times

Besides the Nazarenes and Jews, the Nicean Nicolaitans also held a united abhorrence for the Paganizers, those Pagans who held firmly to their pre-catholic beliefs. All across Europe millions of Pagans of diverse beliefs and practices resisted the New Religion and maintained the Old practiced by their ancestors. They refused to merge with the Universal Church despite the Bishops willingness to Paganize the Nazarene Way Judaism.

We often forget the valiant struggles these people waged against the Nicolaitan conquests. This hatred eventually led to "the Burning Times" of the Catholic Inquisitions in which over 6 million Pagans were murdered by Nicene Christians in cold blood. Once the Protestants were on the scene their hatred of Pagans burned equally hot. These persecutions marked a decided low point in Christian history.

The Church's deification of Iesus (Jesus) and near deification of Mary (Miryam), the embrace of the Pagan cross as a holy symbol, the inclusion of Pagan holidays like Yule (Christmas), the feast of goddess Ostara (Easter), Samhain: the day of the dead (All Saints Eve/Halloween), the inclusion of the idea of eternal torment in the abode of the god Hades by the God of Love and so on (coupled with frequent death threats and actualities) convinced most Pagans to convert to the New Religion, but like the struggling Nazarenes and other Jews, the "Old Religion" survived underground although it was almost destroyed.

Today the "Ancient Ways" are making a comeback both as specific Pagan traditions (like Wicca, Druidism, Welsh Traditionalism, Gardarian Witchcraft, etc.) and through the countless hybrid "New Age Movements" that are incorporating ancient Pagan ideas.

Its good to acknowledge that Pagans like my old friend Gwydion Pendderwen, the Faerie Shaman, are sometimes forced to pay a high price for their religious freedoms. In his case, Gwydion was martyred for his beliefs when his vehicle was run off the road in 1982 by people fearful of his progress. Like the Nazarene talmidim and the Jews, Pagans suffered grievously under the harsh reign of the Church Universal and Triumphant.

Like the Nazarenes, so much has been lost that neo-Pagans are forced to do research in order to rediscover their origins and then establish new modes through which to express them. Gwydion Pendderwen excelled at this.

The term "Paganizer" is not one I have seen elsewhere, however when using the term "Judaizer" as I do here to refer to those seeking to return the Church to its Jewish roots, the term "Paganizer" seems appropriate to describe those who seek to restore the Pagan traditions. The Paganizers wanted to restore the Old Religion of myriad forms and they put up admirable resistance to Rome as well.

The Dark Side

Our focus here is on the Nazarene Way but it is worth a brief comment on this misconception.

Due largely to Church propaganda, the Burning Times, the Witch dunkings and similar Church sanctioned atrocities many Christians wrongly believe European Pagans intentionally "worship the devil." This is not so.

Paganism is incredibly diverse and so absolutist statements about their beliefs are bound to be inaccurate. However, as a general statement, Pagans do not believe in a God or Devil as those terms are used by Believers in Adon Y'shua. The Pagan world view is completely different. For Pagans life is filled with innumerable spirits and interconnected interplays. The general focus is on the ceaseless dance of Light (Lady Day) and Dark (the Lord of the Dance) beheld in the turning of the seasonal wheel.

Because of the duality of light and dark, there does exist within the greater Pagan cosmology a dark side (without the dark there could be no light). Into this arena came the hybrid descendants of the Nephilim as we discussed in part three.

The Mer People migrated from Babel to Babylon, through the Land of Canaan and into Egypt. Later during the time of Ormus de Outrimmer they migrated into Europa and finally settled in Bavaria -- although their royal authority encompasses all the kingdoms of the Continent and reaches into the New World as well. These are they of the Order of the Defeated Dragon. These Pagans are the Elite and they stand apart from all others as the cursed descendants of a cursed race of hybrid beings. These are the Children of the Dark, the Children of Heylel (Lucifer): The Illumined Ones.

The Mer People maintain a complex Pagan religious system that is usually described as Occultic and is reflected in such groups as the Ordo Templi Orientis (O.T.O.), the higher orders of Free Masonry and so on. Their Illuminati practices are Pagan in nature, they worship nature spirits and gods like the Great Owl, Dagon, Asthoroth, and they honor the ancient Ba'als and related spirits of their Canaanite ancestors. And they do it all in service to Heylel (Lucifer), the Son of the Morning (shachar), father of the Star Seeders.

Even as the "Black Mass" draws from biblical concepts so too much of the language and rites the Elite use derive from Pagan traditions. This sad abuse does not condemn biblical religion nor does it indict the Pagan traditions that they are exploiting.

For example, the Light honoring Arthurian legends of the Lady of the Lake that are so beloved by the Welsh and others come from ancient local legend and reveal honorable traditions of faith and hope, but these accounts were reworked for popular consumption and invested with very different meanings by the Elite. The same is true of the Mabinogion, of the tales of Pwyll Pen Annwn and others. They have been contaminated by the Defeated Dragon.

Thus the Holy Grail of Camelot became the San Grael of the Dark Prophecies, the repository of things that had to be both revealed and hidden, things that bode ill for the freedom loving people of the Misty Isles and the Earth entire... and Lady Vivian took her leave.

As Nazarenes we need to understand that most Pagan traditions (and most Pagans), while not biblical in their approach nor beliefs, are not demonic either. We have the same enemy.

What the Bavarian Illuminati of the Novus Ordo Seclorum do is pure evil and utterly destructive to the well being of all life of this planet.

Noahide Judaizers

It should be noted for clarity sake that the term "Judaizer" has traditionally been used to refer to Noahides: non-Jews who are "God-venerators" or "God-Fearers"; i.e. those who worship the God of Israel. The term predates the Nazarenes, the rise of Christianity and Catholicism. By referring to Nazarenes as Judaizers the Church unwittingly confirmed the correctness of the Nazarene position (even though they use the term as a pejorative). Acknowledging that the God of the Jews is the only true God, Judaizers attach themselves to the Jewish people and to HaShem. Such people are frequently referenced in the Tanakh. For example:

KJV: Exodus 12:48 And when a stranger [ger] shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
12:49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

And

KJV: Leviticus 17:8: "And thou shalt say unto them, Whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers [ger] which sojourn among you, that offereth a burnt offering or sacrifice...."

And again,

KJV: Leviticus 17:13 "And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers [ger] that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust."

In biblical times these Ger Tzadikim (Righteous Gentiles) lived among the Israelites and worshiped HaShem. Noahides (Ger Tzadikim) have worshiped Adonai since the days after Noach Avinu left his ark and entered into the covenant of the Sheva Mitzvot. Indeed, since the day Adam and Havah (Eve) left the Garden.

Nazarene Jews

Some Noahides eventually convert to Judaism while others remain Noahide. Biblically speaking Noahides are counted as distinct/separate from Israel while Nazarenes are regarded as part of Am Israel (People Israel). Noahides are "foreigners" ("ger") who are also accepted by HaShem. Adon Y'shua referred to such people as "the other sheep not of this fold" (John 10:16). We touched on this topic earlier.

For clarity sake it should be noted that the Rabbis sometimes interpret the word ger as a proselyte and sometimes as a Noahide. When we try and reconcile Jewish, Nazarene and Nicene Christian interpretations it can get confusing at times. For instance again:

KJV: Exodus 12:48 And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
12:49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

CJB: Exodus 12:48 If a foreigner [ger] staying with you wants to observe ADONAI's Pesach, all his males must be circumcised. Then he may take part and observe it; he will be like a citizen of the land. But no uncircumcised person is to eat it.
49 The same teaching is to apply equally to the citizen and to the foreigner living among you."

Judaica Press Chumash: JPC: Exodus 12:48. And should a proselyte [ger] reside with you, he shall make a Passover sacrifice to the Lord. All his males shall be circumcised, and then he may approach to make it, and he will be like the native of the land, but no uncircumcised male may partake of it.
There shall be one law for the native and for the stranger [ger] who resides in your midst."

Ger is translated in verse 48 as stranger (KJV), foreigner (CJB) and proselyte (JPC). Most Noahides understand this word to refer to them however the Orthodox JPC has it as proselyte (a convert). Once a Noahide converts to Judaism he/she is no longer a proselyte.

Ger is translated in verse 49 as stranger (KJV), foreigner (CJB) but notice, this time it is translated as stranger in the JPC.

In his commentary the justly celebrated Rabbinic sage Rashi explains:

Verse 48: [H]e shall make a Passover sacrifice: We might think that everyone who converts must make a Passover sacrifice immediately. Therefore, Scripture states: “and he will be like the native of the land,” [indicating that] just as the native [makes the sacrifice] on the fourteenth [of Nissan], so must a proselyte [make it] on the fourteenth [of Nissan]. — [from Mechilta]

[B]ut no uncircumcised male may partake of it: This includes one whose brothers died because of circumcision, [one] who is not considered an apostate in regards to circumcision, and [his disqualification] is not derived from “No estranged one may partake of it” (verse 43). — [from Mechilta]

Verse 49: There shall be one law: [This verse comes] to liken a proselyte to a native also regarding other commandments in the Torah. — [from Mechilta]

Rashi makes no direct connection here between the Ger and Noahides, but he does imply that those Ger in verse 48 are converts/proselytes while those in verse 49 are not proselytes. He sees the Ger living among the Jews (at least referenced in these verses), as proselytes to the religion of the Israelites and those living apart from those as "strangers." These strangers (ger) would contextually be the Noahides.

The point here is that those who wish to establish a single "correct" interpretation have their job cut out for them! As the sages say, Ask 5 rabbis a question get 8 answers. Everything is related however until Mashiach Y'shua establishes the global Theocracy and his ministers begin teaching his doctrine to the world, differences will continue to exist! Seek the truth, study, pray, but don't get too dogmatic on points like these. We need unity of spirit more than unity of doctrine (within reason of course).

The original Nazarenes, the first talmidim/students of Adon Y'shua the Nazarene, were Judean Jews living in the general area of Yerushalayim (Jerusalem). Later came Greek and other Jews who embraced the Nazarene Way of Y'shua through the missionary work of the talmidim. The Nazarene Way is a Jewish Movement.

All Jews who embrace the Way may correctly be referred to as Jews, "Nazarene Jews," "Jewish Nazarenes" or "Messianic Jews." Whatever the preferred label, they are simply Jews who accept Adon Y'shua the Nazarene as Cohen Gadol and coming Mashiach.

Many of the Jewish Nazarenes returned to traditional Judaism as Catholicism usurped the Movement and the depth of their antisemitism began to manifest. Other Jews assimilated and lost their Jewish heritage and identity altogether.

Noahide Nazarenes

Gentiles who embrace the Noahide Covenant may be known as Noahides, Ger Tzadikim etc.

Those Noahides/Gentiles who enter the B'rit Hadashah (New Covenant) instituted by Adon Y'shua may be known as "Noahide Nazarenes," "Messianic Jews" and/or "Nazarene Jews" because we have been adopted into the House Israel according to the B'rit Hadashah. Conversely the name Nazarenes is also correct. Whatever the name, we too are Jews:

CJB: Romans 2:27 Indeed, the man who is physically uncircumcised but obeys the Torah will stand as a judgment on you who have had a b'rit-milah and have Torah written out but violate it!
28 For the real Jew is not merely Jewish outwardly: true circumcision is not only external and physical.
29 On the contrary, the real Jew is one inwardly; and true circumcision is of the heart, spiritual not literal; so that his praise comes not from other people but from God.

Many Noahide Nazarenes choose to be circumcised as a sign of their complete conversion but this is not required (Acts 15:24). Gentiles were never required to be circumcised unless they wanted to convert to Judaism under the Mosaic Covenant. This is still the case as confirmed by the Nazarene Emissaries at Acts chapter 15.

Are Nazarenes Jews? Christians?

Its largely semantics at this point.

Since biblically knowledgeable Noahide Nazarenes do not accept the notion that Adon Y'shua established a new religion -- John 4:22 -- (Catholicism, Christianity, or any other) and since we know from both scripture and direct experience that we have been grafted onto the Tree of Israel (Romans 11) and adopted into the Family of Am Israel (Romans 8:15) as Jews (Romans 2:29), then we are not correctly referred to as "Christians" (although we certainly seek to follow the Anointed One and to share in his anointing by God's grace). That name was coined by the Catholic Church.

Since as Noahide Nazarenes our mothers (nor our fathers in the case of the Karaites) were Jewish and we have not been accepted by a Jewish Beit Din as converts, we are not Jewish according to their rulings and the rabbis "sit in the seat of Moshe" and are empowered to make that ruling. We should never therefore refer to ourselves as "Jews" without a correct qualifier (i.e. Nazarene Jews, Noahide Jews, etc). Our intention is never to offend the Jewish people nor to claim their covenant -- May HaShem forbid even such a thought!

Balance is always important.

Noahide Nazarenes, the term I prefer personally, are not generally accepted by Rabbinic or Karaite Jews nor by Christians and really, its just semantics anyway. Many Orthodox Jews do not accept Reformed or Conservative Jews, some even reject the saintly Hasidim and so on... Many Baptists reject Pentecostal Christians, Jehovah's Witnesses, Quakers, and so on, Catholicism rejects everyone (except the Orthodox Christians under certain conditions)... -- I'm not meaning to single any group out by this example -- but the important thing is being accepted by HaShem not human beings!

By whatever name, Noahide Nazarenes worship the God of the Israel as taught in Torah in ways that are very similar to other Jews and we honor Adon Y'shua as our chief rabbi, mediator and coming Mashiach, in ways similar to Nicean Christians. We do not reject anyone who sincerely worships the God of the Bible. If some wish to reject us it is their loss, we will worship Adonai according to the Light He has granted us thus far.

However be clear about this, biblically speaking we are Jews who belong to the Nazarene or Messianic movement/sect of Judaism established by Y'shua the Nazarene and his inspired talmidim. We do not wish to offend, but neither do we make any apologies.

The majority of Adon Y'shua's followers are Noahide (Gentile) and the majority of Christians know little if anything about the original Nazarene Way established by Adon Y'shua. That's just the way it is. It is our job to educate those who have ears to hear and eyes to see and Adon Y'shua prepares the Great Multitude who will be serving him during the final seven years of the Gentile Times for what is coming.

As the Universal Church rose to power most Jewish Nazarenes recanted their faith in Y'shua or assimilated into Goyish culture and religion. The remnant of Nazarenes were viewed as a threat to Catholic authority and dogma. As the 4th century "Church father" Epiphanius charged:

... these sectarians... did not call themselves Christians but "Nazarenes"... They are different from the Jews, and different from Christians, only in the following. They disagree with Jews because they have come to faith in Messiah; but since they are still fettered by the Law -- circumcision, the Sabbath, and the rest -- they are not in accord with Christians.... they are nothing but Jews...

Those Nazarenes and others who sought biblical religion within the Church and who dared speak out against the doctrines of the Trinity, the deity of Y'shua, eternal torment in hellfire, the supremacy of the Catholic Church and so on were persecuted and prosecuted by the Church of Rome as heretics. Antisemitism became official Church doctrine and Passion Plays condemning Jews as Christ killers became popular forms of entertainment and indoctrination. Such portrayals are still popular as was seen recently in Mel Gibson's scripturally inaccurate antisemitic snuff film, the Passion of the Christ.

In the end however the Nicolaitan Heresy was successful. It crushed both the "Judaizers" and the "Paganizers" beneath its feet as Rome had crushed Jerusalem and the Beit HaMikdash ("House of the Holy") in 70 C.E. The anti-biblical doctrines ratified by the Catholic councils like Nicea and still accepted by most of her daughter churches include:

• Every Christian holiday including Christmas, Easter, Michaelmas, Lent, All Saints Day, Saint Brigid's Day and so on (for more on this see Here).
• The distinctive dress worn by Catholic clergy, brothers and sisters (the white collar for instance arose from the representation that words of the priest emerge from the white light of Sol Invictus).
• The near deification and veneration of Catholic saints.
• The near deification of Mary as the Theotokos ("Mother of God") and co-redemtress.
• The Immaculate Conception (which refers to Mary's sinless birth, not Y'shua's).
• The veneration of statues, icons, human remains etc.
• The existence of Hades/Hell (for more on this see Here).
• Purgatory (for more on this see Here).
• Heaven as the eternal abode of humans rather than Gan Eden (the future restored earthly Kingdom of Mashiach in the Olam Haba).
• Rejection of the literal Kingdom of God on Earth in the Olam Haba.
• The Catholic belief that the Kingdom of God already exists in Olam HaZeh (this age) as the Catholic Church.
• The Protestant belief that the Kingdom of God already exists in Olam HaZeh (this age) as the combined Christian Church composed of all "Born Again Believers."
• The common belief that some humans become angels upon their deaths.
• The common belief that demons exist beyond the consent of HaShem.
• The common belief in Lucifer as God's opposite (HaShem has no equal and no opposite).
• Changing Y'shua's names to "Hail Zeus" (Iesus/Jesus) rather than "Yah's Salvation" (Y'shua) as the Bible says (for more on this see: Here).
• The deification of Jesus (for more on this see Here).
• The rejection of Adonai's absolute Oneness and transforming Him (their intention) into a triune godhead or "Holy Trinity" (for more on this see Here).
• Augustine's doctrine of original sin.
• Use of the rosary, the "stations of the cross" meditations, novenas, indulgences, etc.
• The Church mandated disregard of Shabbat: an eternally commanded observance clearly defined in Genesis 2, reiterated in the two versions of the Ten Commandments and throughout the Torah, and continued by Y'shua and his talmidim (for more information on this see: Here).
• The acceptance of Sunday, the holy day of Sol Invictus the Sun god worshiped by Constantine, as a replacement holy day (for more on this see: Here).
  
  And so much more.

Emperor Constantine's God Triumphs

People sometimes have a distorted view of how HaShem deals with the world. They sometimes believe God micromanages every detail of our lives, leaving nothing to chance nor even to our free will. Some even believe God enjoys our misfortunes or is "chomping on the bit" to smash us like a petty warlord. This however is not what what the Bible teaches! HaShem is our Father, our Beloved, our Eternal Well-wisher and He safeguards our free will both individually and collectively.

Adonai Elohiym placed Adam and Havah (Eve) in the Garden of Bliss and said, Choose: Live here in bliss or rebel. As El Hannora (the Awesome GOD) He established His Rainbow Covenant with Noach Avinu and said, Choose: Establish a just society or rebel. As Adonai Elohei-Tzva'ot (Lord of Hosts and of all Creation) the Holy One gave Moshe the Written Torah and the Mosaic Covenant and said, Choose: Harmonize with the Torah and live free or rebel. Then as El Ereckh Apayim Avi HaTachumin (The God of all patience and consolation) HaShem sent our Adon Y'shua as the Nazarene (netser) who inaugurated the B'rit Hadashah (New Covenant) and our Adon said, Chose: If you love me keep my commandments (Matthew 5:46).

You see, HaShem the Echad Elohiym (The One True God) allows us to choose and then, when our poor choices become too detrimental to our well being He mercifully intervenes in various ways to draw us back into potential harmony and protection. If we strayed too far we would be all hope. He is truly El Maloei Rachamim, the All-Merciful God and El Simchath Gili, the God of our Exceeding Joy!

And yet time after time both the Noahides and the Israelites/Jews chose to rebel. This is how the Roman Emperor Constantine and his court managed to replace the Nazarene Jewish Way with his Universalist hybrid religion. The people again chose to rebel against the revealed Truth of HaShem.

The Roman Emperor Constantine, who was mentioned above and who was largely responsible for the creation of Nicene Christianity, remained a loyal worshiper of Sol Invictus (the sun god of the Mithraic mysteries) all of his life, despite claims that he had converted to the Nazarene Way. This is well established historic fact.

From Shabbat to Sun Day

Mithras Sol Invictus is worshiped on Sunday because he is a sun god. HaShem is worshiped on Shabbat (Friday sunset to Saturday sunset according to our modern calendar names but on the Seventh Day of the Hebrew calendar) by Jews, Noahides and Nazarenes as the Bible instructs, because after creating the world the Echad Elohiym rested on that day and sanctified it as the day of His remembrance (Genesis 2:1-3). The idea that is becoming prominent among some students who are seeking to rediscover the biblical religion of a "floating Sabbath" based on the first day of the lunar calendar is, while generally well intended, inaccurate. There is some variance in the calendar for the festivals (contrast Karaite and Rabbinic calculations on this) but not on the week Shabbat (for more on this see the Karaite Corner and Chabad websites.

HaShem very clearly commands that Shabbat be kept apart for His worship. No other weekly observance is set apart in scripture and Adonai says through Moshe:

JPC: Exodus 31:15. Six days work may be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of complete rest, holy to the Lord; whoever performs work on the Sabbath day shall be put to death.

Adon Y'shua clarified how we are to observe Shabbat, he said "Shabbat was made for man, not man for Shabbat," but neither he nor his talmidim did away with this eternal commandment. Yet with the stroke of a pen Constantine replaced the Day of HaShem with the day of his god, Sol Invictus. We know this is historically a fact, the Catholic Church itself admits it, and yet the vast majority of Christians of all sects continue to ignore the biblically prescribed Shabbat and honor the day of the Roman sun god:

On March 7, 321 C.E. Constantine decreed dies Solis (Sun day, the day of the sun) to be the official Roman day of rest and worship [CJ3.12.2]. His decree stated:

"On the venerable day of the Sun let the magistrates and people residing in cities rest, and let all workshops be closed. In the country however persons engaged in agriculture may freely and lawfully continue their pursuits because it often happens that another day is not suitable for grain-sowing or vine planting; lest by neglecting the proper moment for such operations the bounty of heaven should be lost."

This decree is why most Nicene Christians worship on Sunday. It has nothing to do with the resurrection of Adon Y'shua etc. Such excuses are merely justifications for abandoning the biblical Shabbat. For information on the biblical lunar calendar and Shabbat go: Here.

Shabbat breaking Christians can debate Paul's teaching that 'one day is as good as another' and so on all they wish: All he was saying was that the important thing was for the Gentiles to come to HaShem in faith, the details of proper practice could be ironed out later. Roman Pagans worshiped on several different days (and phases of the Moon) according to their sects, however Sunday was the main one for the Constantine the Great. You can't expect people to change over night! Yet in the above quote we have the true origin of Sunday as "the Lord's Day" and the official Catholic rejection of Shabbat.

Even if Paul had meant Shabbat is no longer technically required (which he did not), why would a worshiper of the God of Israel, a talmidim of the Jewish Mashiach, prefer to honor the day of Sol Invictus rather than the clearly biblically defined Day of Adonai? No, HaShem commands His people to honor His Shabbat and He says, Choose: Honor my Shabbat or rebel. The Nicene Church chose to rebel. Shabbat observance is the very first command given in Scripture (Genesis 2:1-3) and it was never repealed nor transferred to any other day. For more on this see: Here.

As for Constantine's alleged conversion to "Christianity" consider this series of quotes:

"Before his baptism on his deathbed, Emperor Constantine portrayed Sol Invictus on his official coinage, with the legend SOLI INVICTO COMITI, thus claiming the Unconquered Sun as a companion to the Emperor [himself].

"Christianity adopted some of the attributes of the Sol Invictus religion, as apparent in the first examples of Christian iconography, depicting Christ with solar attributes such as the radiated crown or, in a few instances, a solar chariot."

"Sol Invictus had been adopted by the Church of Rome as evidenced by Christ as Apollo-Helios in a mausoleum discovered under St. Peter's Basilica and dated to 250, and, from the beginning of the third century, "Sun of Justice" was used as a title of Christ."

"The date for Christmas may also bear a relation to the sun worship. According to the Syriac bishop Jacob Bar-Salibi, writing in the twelth [sic] century:

"It was a custom of the Pagans to celebrate on the same 25 December the birthday of the Sun, at which they kindled lights in token of festivity. In these solemnities and revelries the Christians also took part. Accordingly when the doctors of the Church perceived that the Christians had a leaning to this festival, they took counsel and resolved that the true Nativity should be solemnised [sic] on that day." (cited in "Christianity and Paganism in the Fourth to Eighth Centuries", Ramsay MacMullen. Yale:1997, p155)."

"Christianity designated Sunday as the "Lord's Day" and the day of rest, rather than Saturday, the Jewish Sabbath." (sic)

As the traditions of Sol Invictus and other Pagan deities and customs overshadowed the teachings of the new religion the final nail was hammered into the coffin of the Nazarene Way.

But Judaism, Including the Nazarene Way, Survives Still

People believe what they believe in their hearts as well as in their minds. Intellectual understanding is insufficient, we must love HaShem with all of our heart. Yet heart-felt devotion and love of God is strengthened by knowledge and understanding -- "Come let us reason together says Adonai" -- we must worship HaShem with our minds as well.

The Gospel of Adon Y'shua is powerful and not so easily replaced! We do not merely "believe" in HaShem and His Son, we know them personally, experiential. Doctrinal understandings are one thing, ones relationship with Adonai Tzva'ot our Father is another. Still, for now we only understand in part (I Corinthians 13:9) and we never think too high of ourselves nor what we believe we are discovering. Adonai is More, always More.

Even though many of the outer trappings and canonized creeds of the New Religion were anomos (in opposition to Torah) millions of people within the Universal Church and her daughter churches (the Anglicans, Protestants etc) maintained their personal faith in Y'shua and in the God of Israel within their hearts -- albeit with less clarity than before. This is true of the Eastern congregations, the Syrians, the Coptics and so on as well.. Anomos understandings, in that case more Coptic and Gnostic than Nicolaitan, arose and yet the people maintained their faith in the God of Israel according to the Light they had. When they cried out to "Jesus" according their sincere if misguided understandings HaShem and His dear Son replied with mercy and compassion and the Way continued to advance the Kingdom agenda.

Along with a few million Jews now billions of Gentiles were placing their faith in HaShem according to the Light received. Those who deny the importance for good of the Nicene Church would do well to rethink their position!

HaShem uses our human weaknesses and free will for His glory! He knew the Ten Tribes of Israel would go astray. He knew the Elders of Israel would not accept Adon Y'shua. He knew the Way would be overshadowed by the Nicean heresies... Nothing is beyond His knowledge... and yet... Its all part of His Plan working through our free will choices so that in the end Adonai will grant His mercy upon all.

KJV: Romans 11:1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
11:2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew....
11:13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
11:14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.
11:15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?
11:16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
11:17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
11:18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
11:19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
11:28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.
11:29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
11:32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

The outer form of the Nazarene Way ceased to resemble the Jewish movement of Y'shua and his talmidim but it did not die. How could it? The Word of Adonai never returns to Him void!

CJB: Isaiah 55:11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth - it will not return to me unfulfilled; but it will accomplish what I intend, and cause to succeed what I sent it to do."

The Way of God continued to exist through and in spite of the "Church," a new conglomerate religious entity in many cases in contradistinction to the Torah and biblical religion. From this point on the Way established by Adon Y'shua and his talmidim had been transformed into something fundamentally different but the many of the people still believed.

God is most merciful and compassionate!

Antisemitism and the Church

The Ruach Hakodesh (the Presence of HaShem, not a third person of a godhead) continued working in people's hearts. The Spirit reminded the people of Torah and of Adon Y'shua's teachings in ways they could comprehend. Biblical knowledge was lacking but Church traditions and rituals, the Bible stories depicted on stained glass windows, the stations of the cross, matins, and so on assured that the basics were not forgotten:

There is a God, He cares for even the weakest and most fallen among us and He is accessible through prayer. With their limited understandings of the things of God - we're speaking mainly of the laity class now (another unbiblical concept) -- the Christians maintained their faith in God, and many many sincere people advanced spiritually and drew close to the heart of God.

As the debates raged on the Judaizers within and without the Church were branded as heretics and relentlessly persecuted. The clear implication of these attacks being that the Catholic Church (the only Church for a very long time) had no place within it for anyone who held to the Jewish origins of the Way nor for the teachings of Y'shua the Nazarene. Nothing outside the Church was to be accepted as of God and cries of "heresy" rang out across Christendom as the persecutions intensified. In effect the Roman theologians had declared Y'shua and his talmidim heretics! Neither Y'shua nor his teachings would be tolerated, only the Catholic Iesus (Jesus) and the sanctioned universalist dogmas.

As "the Arians" and other in-house "heretics" were silenced the Church increased its persecution of Master's own people: the Jews.

The Jews were branded "Christ killers" and antisemitism became a desirable trait to be embraced by faithful Catholics, a sign of loyalty to the Church and to its Jesus. Even the word "Jew" took on negative connotations among many Nicean Christians. Antisemitism spread like poison throughout the Christian world forcing countless Jews to flee into the Muslim lands for safety. For decades the Muslims provided the Jews with refuge against the raising universalist storm that was creating an age of darkness and despair.

Even after the Anglican and Protestant Reformations this toxic prejudice continued to spread throughout Christendom. That this sentiment was carried into the Protestant Movement is evident from even a cursory reading of Martin Luther, a personal hero of Adolph Hitler. For instance Luther wrote in his On Jews and their Lies:

What shall we Christians do with this rejected and condemned people, the Jews? Since they live among us, we dare not tolerate their conduct, now that we are aware of their lying and reviling and blaspheming. If we do, we become sharers in their lies, cursing and blasphemy. Thus we cannot extinguish the unquenchable fire of divine wrath, of which the prophets speak, nor can we convert the Jews. With prayer and the fear of God we must practice a sharp mercy to see whether we might save at least a few from the glowing flames. We dare not avenge ourselves. Vengeance a thousand times worse than we could wish them already has them by the throat. I shall give you my sincere advice:

First, to set fire to their synagogues or schools and to bury and cover with dirt whatever will not burn, so that no man will ever again see a stone or cinder of them. This is to be done in honor of our Lord and of Christendom, so that God might see that we are Christians, and do not condone or knowingly tolerate such public lying, cursing, and blaspheming of his Son and of his Christians. For whatever we tolerated in the past unknowingly -- and I myself was unaware of it -- will be pardoned by God. But if we, now that we are informed, were to protect and shield such a house for the Jews, existing right before our very nose, in which they lie about, blaspheme, curse, vilify, and defame Christ and us (as was heard above), it would be the same as if we were doing all this and even worse ourselves, as we very well know.

Martin Luther of course was one of the main founders of the Protestant Reformation and subsequent denominations. While active Christian persecution of Jews has largely subsided it still exists in many circles and is not confined to Catholicism by any means.

The Papal elite favored the more inclusive and eclectic Roman Pagan beliefs to the monotheistic and exclusionary Jewish ones. They believed that Adon Y'shua's Jewish reform movement, if merged with Rome's Pagan beliefs, would be just what they needed to establish a universal religion through which to control the world.

With the Pagan sign of the cross (Y'shua died on a stauros or execution stake not a cross) as Constantine declared, Rome would be victorious again!

Christian Rome

The emerging Papacy based its teachings more on Plato and Aristotle than upon the revealed Word of God, the Torah. The "Church fathers" acknowledged the many weaknesses of Pagan Rome and their philosophies, but sought to maintain the strengths and basic mythos of the Pagans because it appealed their enslaved subjects. Church citizens were by and large good, moral people but the Nicolaitans who ruled them had one goal, one desire: Power.

Paganism, a major underpinning of traditional Roman authority, was a dieing religious system throughout the Empire and Rome itself was crumbling in part as a result. Kingdoms and nations endure only as long as their subjects embrace the paradigms they weave. Rome's belief tapestry was moth eaten and frayed. The Vatican hoped to turn things around with the New Religion. They needed some way of uniting the rebellious and disillusioned populace around a central patriotic pillar, and in Rome that meant religion. With this as their primary impetus, Roman scholars undertook the Herculean task of merging Roman Paganism with the fast growing Nazarene Jewish sect embraced by Constantine's mother, believing it would provide the needed catalyst for the invigoration of the Roman Empire and establish Papal authority over the earth.

The Papacy still faced problems however. In many cases neither the Tanakh nor the generally accepted writings of the early Nazarenes could be made to agree with the new Roman religion. Thus began serious Catholic biblical scholarship as we discussed in part 8. If their doctrines didn't fit the Bible, the Bible would be made to fit the doctrines!

The Catholic Cannon

For its Pentateuch (or Written Torah: the Five Books of Moshe/Moses) the Papacy relied largely on the Greek Septuagint translation. The Torah had been previously translated by Hellenistic Jewish scholars. The Nevi'im and Khethuvim (the remainder of the Septuagint Bible/Tanakh) had been translated into Greek by Gentile scholars and included a few significant discrepancies from the Hebrew originals (now lost but preserved in the Masoretic Text), but were nonetheless reasonably solid.

These books were well established by Jewish scholars and the Roman Universalist theologians couldn't do much to alter their teachings (so they downgraded their importance as "the Old [passe] Testament"). The new Catholic Bible was advanced by scholars such as Jerome. Jerome was the son of Eusebius of Caesarea (circa 263–339 C.E.) who was, you will recall from part 8, an Arian: a Monotheist who rejected the trinity doctrine). Jerome lived circa 347 – September 30, 420 and is also known as Saint Hierom. The aforementioned Textus Receptus comes through this lineage of Holy Writ.

Those things the Church did not like from the Tanakh were easily dismissed as being passe or "fulfilled in Jesus." By determining the content of the New Testament and then establishing their authority as its sole interpreters the Vatican "easily" established itself as the sole arbitrator of the "one true faith" thereby replacing Y'shua as the sole Mediator or Cohen Gadol (I Timothy 2:5).

The New Testament did not present the same textual limitations. Although some people had read the Hebrew language Nazarene Scriptures by the third and fourth centuries, none of these works had yet attained the established status of the Tanakh. Plus most Believers who could read and who had attained copies of these works read them in one of the conflicting Greek and/or Aramaic translations rather than in the Hebrew original. Mainly only the Jewish Nazarenes understood Hebrew and most of them had fled or surrendered their cultural and linguistic identity by this point. Everyone agreed the Nazarene/Christian Scriptures needed to be clarified and standardized and the bishops set about doing this, to their own advantage of course.

Citing poor translations, older or more reliable manuscript sources and so on it was easy for the Universalist theologians to reject and/or edit these books and make them support the developing dogmas of the New Religion. We have witnessed a similar process of misinformation and doctrinal propaganda as the more Humanist NIV (New International Version) paraphrase (which is based mainly on previously discarded texts) largely replaced the far superior King James translation (translated from the Textus Receptus) throughout the English-speaking world. Most Christians have no idea how fundamentally contrary to the King James Version and historically recognized Textus Receptus the NIV and its sister paraphrases are. I discuss this in some detail Here.

A few of the commonly accepted books, like the Gospel of Enoch, the Protevangelion of James and so on were rejected outright by the "fathers" while other writings were reworked and made part of the official Papal cannon in order to establish the orthodoxy of the New Religion's teachings and authority. To their credit (or due to divine intervention) their determinations of which books to include in the cannon appear to be good overall in my opinion. There were a great many works to chose from and many contained Gnostic, Coptic (as in Egyptian Mystery sects), Nicolaitan and other anti-biblical influences that would have fatally flawed the Scriptures. While a few other texts perhaps were actually written under inspiration (and we would have liked to see them included) the B'rit Hadashah library (or New Testament) we have is one we as Believers can all rally around as Sacred Writ.

Again once the Catholic Magisterium determined the canon all the other books and earlier versions became "heretical." To ensure the authority of the official cannon innumerable volumes were destroyed or locked away within the vaults of the Vatican. Thanks to modern archeology many of these works are being rediscovered. Reading many of these works we can completely understand and affirm their rejection by the councils.

Establishing Church Authority

Among the most important 'proofs' the Papal theologians needed to establish was that their "Jesus" had a unique and specific role to play in the working out of God's plans for the "Holy Apostolic Catholic Church." The new and improved Papal Jesus had to be the Jewish Messiah (they needed that level of authority), yet not be "too Jewish" (as they regarded the Jews as their ecclesiastical enemies). With this in mind, the theologians meticulously searched the Tanakh for proof texts: verses that could be cited to uphold the Vatican's new teachings. Several references to these texts were inserted into the texts of the New Testament. These insertions are often obvious but sometimes not. For instance:

KJV: Matthew 12:16 And charged them that they should not make him known:
12:17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying...

Such verses are clearly editorial amendments/insertions to the texts. There is nothing wrong with that as such, we just need to be aware this is done. The purpose of Scripture is to teach and inform. In some cases things can not be literally translated without losing the meaning. In some cases translators use paraphrasing rather than strict translation to more closely convey the meanings ("spilled milk" has nothing to do with the spilling of milk for instance). There is nothing intellectually dishonest about that as long as the paraphrases/explanations do not compromise the meaning. In cases like the example here, explanatory notes were added in the same way we now use footnotes or parenthesis.

Since it is an undeniable fact that Adon Y'shua did not fulfill the main messianic requirement/prophecy -- that being the ushering in of the Kingdom as discussed in my study Identifying the Messiah -- new "prophecies" were "discovered" in the Tanakh that he could be shown to have fulfilled. This is not to say he didn't fulfill them, only that many of these had not been viewed as "messianic prophecies" by the Jews previously. As these prophecies were put forward as evidence many rabbis scratched their heads in dismay: "But... he did not establish the Kingdom..."

This can be a confusing area of biblical research. If one is looking for Y'shua one can find him referenced on almost page in the Tanakh! If one does not believe in him Y'shua is not seen anywhere in it. For instance many assume he was the Angel of the Lord (Genesis 16:7, Exodus 3:2, Judges 2:1 etc. etc). Many Christians marvel and ask how it is possible that the Jews don't see that. But is it really that obvious? Would it have been obvious to first century rabbis who were praying for a conquering Mashiach and were shown a suffering man who said to turn the other cheek? Not so obvious then.

In my opinion there are some clear references to Adon Y'shua in the Tanakh (such as Psalms 110) however several of the commonly assumed references to Y'shua are not about him (for instance the inserted reference at Matthew 1:21-23 does not accurately reflect what is said at Isaiah 7:14 as I discuss Here). It is so important to understand the Scriptures correctly. Forcing texts to say what they do not helps no one. On the other hand "Rightly divided the Word of Truth" in order to determine what was in the text itself and what was later insertion is equally important. Misrepresentation of the texts only provides ammunition to those who oppose the Nazarene Way as I discussed at the outset of this study.

The Universal Nicene Church Advances

Having established the foundations of the new religion stone upon stone with proof texts, in time the Papal theologians canonized the body of orthodox Christian dogma. The essential dogmas of the Church are enshrined in the Nicene and Apostolic Creeds as discussed above. For this reason we often refer to "Nicene Christianity." Nicene Christianity includes all the denominations and sects that accept the Creed as binding dogma. This category includes the vast majority of Christian denominations today. Through the Creeds the Vatican identified itself as the only acceptable source of spiritual knowledge. The main difference between the Catholic and Protestant versions of the Nicene Creed is that Protestants do not understand the word "catholic" to be referring to Catholic Church but collectively to who are "saved." The Vatican "Church fathers" proclaimed the Catholic Popes to be the successors to Saint Peter (by misinterpreting a saying of Adon Y'shua at Matthew 16:18). The Papacy proclaimed itself to be the sole and divinely appointed emissary of God with authority over the whole world.

The Church as the Kingdom

Since Adon Y'shua clearly did not establish the Kingdom (the primary function of the Mashiach) -- and since the last thing the Vatican would want would be the biblically prophesied global Jewish Theocracy anyway -- the Papacy declared, in complete contradiction to the Scriptures, that "Jesus" and his mother (the Theotokos) had in fact ushered in the Kingdom in the form of the One True Catholic ("universal") Church! The Jews simply had not understood their prophecies because of the "hardness of their hearts" and had therefore been disowned and replaced. It would simply take time to perfect the world through the ministries of the Church, but it will it happen -- so pay your tithes, purchase your indulgences and obey the priests (even though the concept of Christian priests is opposed to Y'shua's teachings)! Men like Martin Luther added that this purification would necessitate "dealing firmly with the Jews" as the above quote from On Jews and their Lies demonstrates. This of course completely violates the teachings of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, but now "the Church" stood supreme upon the three pillars of Scripture, Tradition, and the Magisterium (the Church's teaching authority) so whatever the Vatican proclaimed had to be accepted as fact! Another irreparable division between the Church and its Jewish roots was set in stone. Now the two religions had virtually no connection. The Church was now claiming it had replaced the Jews and that God henceforth condemns them (unless they convert to Catholicism of course).

Only Catholics in good standing were accepted as citizens of "the Kingdom of God": the Church. As 'salvation' could only be found within the Church, the Papacy's authority on all points of doctrine and politics were declared unassailable. Eventually they went so far as to proclaim the Pope's pronouncements to be equal to (or greater than) Scripture! When speaking ex cathedra the Pope's pronouncements are considered the ultimate authority, the very Word of God superseding even the Torah. This belief could hardly be more out of touch with Adon Y'shua's role as Cohen Gadol (High Priest) and sole mediator between Adonai and the world. Now to get to God one had to go through ones priest, ones bishop, the relevant saints, officiating angels, the "ever virgin Mary", Jesus and then finally to the Father, the CEO of the Heavenly bureaucracy -- assuming one made it that far upline.

Oy! Instead of making straight the Path of Salvation (Isaiah 40:2; John 1:23) everything had been made more complicated than ever!

In accordance with their new authority, Catholic missionaries traveled far and wide, planting missions wherever they went and spreading the influence of the "Mother Church," the Kingdom of God on earth. Soon the doctrine was developed that as the Catholic Church itself was the kingdom of God on earth, it was obviously destined to rule all things, including sovereign countries and the hearts and minds of everyone on the planet. The Universal Church claimed and wielded the power to give life and to take it away, both physically and spiritually. She could forgive sins or retain them. She was all-powerful, all knowing (and don't forget Saint Nicholas was keeping his list!), often ill-tempered, and there was no aspect of human activity she did not wield authority over. As divinely appointed leader (by smoke) the Pope held the "Keys to the Kingdom" and when he speaks ex cathedra his pronouncements are now regarded as the very Words of God superseding even Scripture. The Pope is accepted as heir to Saint Peter and nothing can stand in the Church's way!

Well... that is except Islam, Protestantism, Secular Humanism....

As the title pope (literally "Papa") implies, the Roman Pontiff has actually usurped the position of the "Abba" or Father God. He has for all intent and purposes assumed the position of God (the Father) Himself! Just as the Roman emperors were deified, so too are the Roman Pontiffs. As the Dark Ages continued Rome seemed unstoppable!

Once the people of the earth had been converted to Catholicism (one way or another) the Papacy would rule the world and destroy anyone and everything standing in their way! Never had human beings wielded such far reaching power!

To further its goal of world conquest the Vatican established "Militias of Saint Peter" and "the Office of the Holy Inquisition" to further extend their political and religious power bases and to enforce Catholic orthodoxy around the globe in the same way that Islam spawned al Ikhwan (the Muslim Brotherhood) and its front groups like Hamas, Al Qaeda, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), Hezbollah, Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) and so on). Papal power is still such that Vatican City is recognized as a sovereign nation. The Jesuits are widely viewed as a fearsome political force capable of (and having) overthrown nations and slaughtered innocent people, and the Pope is regarded as the theocratic head of the octopus Catholic global power base. Some views regarding Rome's covert activities are founded in realities, many are just anti-Catholic fictions based on prejudice and fear.

Again, Catholics like all other Nicene Christians are simply people living their lives according to their understandings, cultural norms etc. We are not speaking about people whose religion is Catholic here. We are talking about the people who control them. This point also applies to Muslims. Most Muslims are good, sincere people who have been deceived. Most Catholics, as individuals, are seeking God according to the light they have been given. Nothing in the preceding should be understood as attacking Catholics nor their essential faith. Some of the greatest and most spiritual people in history have been Catholics. We're talking here about power systems not individuals.

The Fall of the Universal Church

We discussed the Pagan origins of Islam in part four of this study. Had it not been for the rise and early conquests of Islam the Papal intent to conquer and rule the planet might well have succeeded! Thank God the Vatican was stopped!

Islam's advancing role in today's End Time period is not a coincidence. This connection needs to be understood.

The prophecies are clear that in the last days the Nicolaitan heresy (the religious system that resulted from the merging of the Way of Y'shua and the world's religions within the Roman Pagan framework of the 1-5th centuries as discussed above) will be vomited out (Revelation 3:14-19) into the Seven Year Tribulation Period.

As the Nicolaitan heresies lose their authority Islam is again growing rapidly and replacing the Church in all areas. While Muslims are becoming ever more devout in their faith and expanding it through voluntary "reversion," social manipulation, murder, fear, deception (taqiyya) and childbirth, Catholics, like most other Christians, are becoming ever more "lukewarm" and apathetic as the prophet foretold (Revelation 3:14-19) in their practice and faith, bringing in comparatively few converts, giving ground on all fronts and producing far less children than Islam. The result is that Islam is a tidal wave roiling across the earth all but unhindered.

Catholicism is no longer the world's largest religion nor its most influential. When Christendom is considered as a whole it is still the largest religion but its influence and the faithfulness of its membership is declining rapidly as ever more Christians embrace Secular Humanism and de-facto Atheism. Islam is currently taking over Africa and Europe and beginning to make serious inroads within the USA and elsewhere.

As the Nicene Christian Church continues its collapse throughout the world it is again pushing the "ecumenical" agenda of the Nicolaitan paradigm. In other words, "the Church" is again focusing on inclusive "unity" between the world's religions in ways that would have been unthinkable a 100 years ago. Many Nicene Christians are even entertaining the possibility that the deen of Islam and other religions are equivalent belief systems that can be united through various Interfaith networks. Islam however has but one intention: to destroy all other belief systems.

Remember that the Catholic ("Universal") Church was established on eclecticism: the blending of various historic styles and beliefs with the aim of combining the diverse elements to facilitate controlled unity and establish a composite whole through which to gain and maintain its desired authority.

Once Rome had control over much of the world it turned away from eclecticism to theocratic dictatorship. Now that it is falling the Church is returning to its Nicolaitan eclectic/ecumenical facade hoping to reestablish its authority by Universalism. This eclecticism will become increasingly more manifest until it finally becomes the one world religion foretold by the prophets as Babylon the Great.

This stage is not yet established but it is coming. The Babylon the Great of prophecy does not yet exist. When the time for its implementation is ripe, the then sitting Roman Pontiff (known in prophecy as the False Prophet) will rule over the "Mother Church" and her daughters (the other Nicean denominations as well as the other fallen religious systems that will unite with Rome under this coming new system) and hail the Rex Mundi as King and Overlord of all. That this is happening is clear to anyone who follows religious trends. While the Prophecy of St Malachy (circa 1139) may or may not prove accurate the time line he established is noteworthy considering current trends!

As Nazarenes it is becoming increasingly important that we return to biblical religion and forgo the traditions of all human teachers. God's people may still be found within all religions today, but once this new system (i.e. Babylon the Great) is implemented it will be imperative to flee all man made religious systems and rely solely on HaShem and our Mediator Adon Y'shua (Revelation 18:4)!

Despite stopping the Vatican globalization Islam of course was far from a blessing! HaShem often uses negative powers to accomplish His Will as he used King Nebuchadnezzar, Cyrus the Great and others. HaShem used Islam to stop the Vatican between circa 661 to 750 C.E. and then he used European soldiers under Charles Martel (grandfather of Charlemagne) to defeat Islam. Never doubt that HaShem is still in control!

The Rise and Fall and Return of Islam

During the Middle Ages Jews (including Nazarenes) typically fared better under Muslim rule than under Christian. Many European Jews looked to the Ummah of Islam for protection against the fierce antisemitism of the Nicolaitan Church. Let's briefly consider the rise of Islam as it impacted the plans of the Universal Church.

Shortly after the death of Muhammad (June 8, 632 C.E.), on August 26, 636 Byzantine (domain of the Eastern or Orthodox Catholic Church) fell before the Muslim armies at the battle of Yarmouk. Soon all of Syria was conquered to the Taurus. To those who were paying attention it was obvious that the followers of Muhammad intended to fulfill his dream of a global Muslim Caliphate and destroy the globalist plans of the Nicolaitans. This of course ran counter to Catholic goals!

The establishment of a Sharia-based Caliphate was held back for a time as we will see below. One day however, according to Islam and its scriptures, a descendant of Muhammad -- who will look just like him and, according to Shia Islam, will be known as Imam Mahdi (the "Guided One" or "the One of the Moon": i.e. the Arab lunar god Hubal-Sin as discussed previously) -- will come and establish a global Sharia-based caliphate forcing the entire world to submit (islam) to the Arab god called Allah ("the god"). While al Qu'ran does not directly refer to Imam Mahdi each of the six major collections of al Hadith do.

Nazarenes (and everyone else living in the Western World) need to fully understand that this is Islam's agenda. They are convinced that this generation is the one in which Islam will conquer and rule the world and a huge percentage of the world's Muslim population is now ready to martyr themselves to achieve this goal. Islam is again advancing quickly and there is very little serious opposition to what they are doing.

Of Imam Mahdi we read in the Muslim scriptures:

The Prophet (PBUH and HF) said:
"Even if the entire duration of the world's existence has already been exhausted and only one day is left [before the day of judgment], Allah will expand that day to such a length of time, as to accommodate the kingdom of a person from my Ahlul-Bayt who will be called by my name. He will fill out the earth with peace and justice as it will have been full of injustice and tyranny (by then)."

In pursuit of this "peace," in February 637 the Persian army was devastated at Qadasiya, just south of Hira. All of Iraq was occupied by the armies of the Muslim Ummah, including Ctesiphon, its capital (just south of Baghdad).

In 640 Egypt was occupied by the Islamic Ummah; that same year the Persian Empire ceased to exist. What remained of the Roman Christian Empire was divided into two main bodies. The Eastern Orthodox Catholic Church was centered in Constantinople (now Istanbul in northwest Turkey since its defeat by Islam) and the Roman Catholic Church in Rome.

Between 661 and 750 C.E. the armies of the Islamic Ummah conquered a large portion of the known world, mainly China was excepted in these conquests. Determined that Allah's Shariah (laws) would be observed everywhere the military and religious forces of Islam flowed into Europe in torrents with seemingly unstoppable force. For a time it appeared that the global Muslim Caliphate was all but certain and that Catholicism and its globalist agenda would be destroyed.

The expansion of the religion-based kingdom of Muhammad Mustafa was finally postponed (until now) in 732 at Tours in central France by the "stout hearted army of Franks' and their leader Charles Martel" (grandfather of Charlemagne). Islam was forcefully driven back from the bulk of Europa and Catholicism renewed its control, but now it ruled through individual kings and queens more covertly as Prophet Daniel had forewarned (Daniel 2:41,42).

And, as Prophet Daniel foretold, the Roman Empire, the fourth of the four global kingdoms, continues to rule today through the nations of Europa (and the US by proxy), through the Catholic Vatican, through the Illumined Ones of Bavaria, through the Bilderberg Group, the Club of Rome, the CFR, the UN, the World Monetary Fund and other structures.

However Imam Mahdi had not yet come, Islam retreated and "went to sleep."

They are now awakening.

This is the established history. What is not so commonly known is that this was the public origin of the Merovingian Dynasty that continues to rule Europa to this day.

The Merovingians and the Novus Ordo Seclorum

"Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely." Like Constantine the Great the subsequent leaders of the Vatican were more interested in power than in proclaiming the message of the Jesus they had developed. Jesus had been a good tool but as the Church expanded its influence into all areas of secular life their thirst for political power was more compelling. This led to the inclusion of more Humanist minded bishops and priests as the Dark Catholic Ages advanced into the Era of the Enlightenment. Today a large percentage of Catholic priests and bishops publicly confess that they view the faith more as metaphor than as objective reality. The bishops preached Christ to the multitudes but they reigned, often covertly, as Humanist despots.

The rocky relationship between the Merovingians and the Vatican is filled with intrigue. Sometimes they were allies, sometimes they were fierce rivals. This isn't the place to go into too much depth on this topic but these activities must at least be acknowledged if one is to have a good overall understanding of how the Mer gained control of Europa and how Rome nonetheless maintains its prophesied authority.

Like the Ummah of Islam and the Nicolaitan leaders of the Church, the Merovingians desired power above all else. While the Nicolaitans were covert in their real object of worship the Bavarian Illuminati was more direct in their worship of Heylel (Lucifer). While the Nicolaitans typically viewed Heylel as a metaphor for the Powers of Earth, the Bavarian Mer people know his reality and they carefully employ his power to manipulate the earth and its inhabitants.

The Merovingian dynasty gradually established its plans for the New World Order (Novus Ordo Mundi) that are only now coming to fruition. Once established the Novus Ordo Mundi will become the Novus Ordo Seclorum, the New Order of the Ages: the Global Union ruled by Rex Mundi.

Merovech

The New World Order as we know it today was born out of armed conflict with the Muslim Ummah but it can be traced back through the Germanic and Bavarian tribes, through ancient Egypt, through the biblical Philistine Rapha and the Canaanite Nephilim, and farther back yet to the pre-flood Nephilim referred to in the Torah as we discussed earlier in this study. This is important to understand. We are not living in an historic vacuum but at the end of an age where everything is now coming together for the end game.

Indeed Merovech (Meroveus or Merovius in Latin and Mérovée in French) founded the Salian Frankish Merovingian dynasty. According to tradition, Merovech was born of a sea god (his mother having been raped by a Nephilim in the form of a bestea Neptuni Quinotauri similis. As discussed before, "Mero" is the root of "mermaid" and those legions comes from this same source out of the distant past. This beast is known as a Quinotaur, which is to say, a five-horned sea bull. The New World Order then is actually directly associated with the Luciferian rebellion and Heylel is their god. I discuss this in more detail elsewhere.

The Coming Betrayal of Islam

As its plans are now coming to fruition the emerging Novus Ordo Seclorum is again using the Ummah of Islam as a tool. Believing their global caliphate is at hand the Muslim world will be devastated as they behold the betrayal the Globalists have in store for them when their service is no longer required! The coming Elite betrayal of Islam will (based on my research) include using the Ummah to destroy Israel (which HaShem will not allow) and to cause general chaos in the US and other Western countries. Then when the timing is judged right, probably following some major US disaster (like a nuclear war perhaps), Rex Mundi will arise (in Europe) and be hailed as the world hero. He will seemingly restore global peace and security (I Thessalonians 5:3). Islam will never rule the world as they hope, but they may be allowed to get very close! Many Muslim leaders are now publicly acknowledging their willingness and even intention to release global chaos to force the coming of Imam Mahdi (who will in truth be the Anti-Christ).

Charles "The Hammer" Martel ("Carolus Martellus," ca. 688 – October 22, 741) was directly associated with the Merovingian House from which many of us are convinced the coming Illuminati Rex Mundi (the Illumined Global Ruler) will soon arise. He will be the enemy of the faith and it is the lot of the "Hinderers" (II Thessalonians 2:6), the Great Multitude and the 144,000 to oppose him.

Rex Mundi

The coming of this global Mer leader is foretold by Islam (as al Dijal), Christianity (as Antichrist, man of Sin, Son of Perdition), the Jewish Scriptures (as Little Horn; Jews do not usually interpret this phrase this way, etc.) and by the Global Elite (as Rex Mundi: "Global Ruler"). The one Islam seeks to attract, al Mahdi, will in fact be al Dijal.

It has been said that the greatest trick the Devil ever played was convincing the world he does not exist. If so, his second greatest trick has been to convince so many that the Antichrist will be a "System" rather than an individual clearly defined ruler. When this man arises the world will embrace him as their savior. Rex Mundi will be hailed as the greatest human being of all time and then as God incarnate as he enters the yet to be rebuilt Beit HaMikdash (Jerusalem House of the Holy or Temple) and performs the "abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet!"

The Nephilim-spawned Merovingian House are the true rulers of the planet and has held this position since even before the apparent fall of Rome. From this House the Rex Mundi will soon arise and be embraced by the vast majority of humanity. He will be young, handsome, virile, the perfect human being (he has been genetically modified to this end in their Bavarian labs!). He will claim to be a physical descendant of Adon Y'shua and Mary Magdalene and he will provide ample evidence to support this (possibly including releasing the Gospels in their original Hebrew manuscripts that will astound the world). He will arise in the European Union (possibly from the Greek Isles).

CJB: John 5:43 I have come in my Father's name, and you don't accept me; if someone else comes in his own name, him you will accept.

This"someone" will be Rex Mundi.

He will have a high priest, known in the prophecies as the False Prophet. This man will be the final Catholic Pope (perhaps referenced in Malachy's prophecies). He will declare Rex Mundi to be the Second Coming of Y'shua and then Catholicism and her daughters (Nicean Christendom in all their denominations) will become "Babylon the Great."

This is how the Universal Nicene Church will fall, vomited out in disgust by HaShem and His Son (Revelation 3;14-19).

The point here is that the Nazarene Way was usurped by the Nicolaitan heresy (Revelation 2:6, 15 etc) and is now re-emerging to serve Adon Y'shua in his role as HaMashiach as members of the 144,000 Jews and the Great Multitude of Gentiles referenced by Prophet Yochanan in the Revelation of Y'shua the Anointed. The history of the Nicean Church is well worth studying critically.

Throughout all of these experiences sincere people have cried out to HaShem and His Son and they have answered.

The Nazarene Way continues within the hearts of all true Believers (whether they understand the terms or not).

It is horribly, sadly ironic yet true that more damage has been done to the Jewish people (including the Nazarene Jews) by those who claim to follow the Jewish Messiah than by any other single group in history, including Islam (although they now seem determined to even the score). Nonetheless HaShem knew this situation would develop and He knew that within "the Church" His people would remain as a remnant until the End of the Days when at last the cry will go forth:

Come Out From Among Them!

KJV: Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
18:5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

That day is still not here, that specific call has not yet been declared, but that day is now at hand. Those who are wise are seeking HaShem and adopting biblical religion in preparation.

Scripture plainly declares:

"And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed."

This then is a vital key to walking the Nazarene Way! Accept that you have been adopted into Israel (not replaced them!) and seek to be a blessing to everyone, to the Jews first, and also to the Gentiles (Romans 1:16).

The Nicene Christian Church today is hopelessly fragmented: The Roman and Eastern Catholics, the few Arian fellowships of the East and West, the Anglicans and their offshoots, the Protestants and their many denominations and sects, the Coptic Church, the Assyrian Church, the Saint Thomas Christians of India, Jehovah's Witnesses, the LDS, the SDA, the Mennonites, the Quakers etc. etc. all disagree on innumerable points of essential doctrine and yet each claims to hold the true Christian testimony within.

By abandoning the Torah the original "Church fathers" did an unfathomable disservice to the world. All those truly seeking people of all the innumerable Nicene sects are looking for Truth based on essential Nicolaitan deceptions. As a result disharmony abounds despite the good intentions of all. May HaShem have mercy on us all for the chaos our confusion engenders!

BUT our Adon knew this situation was going to develop. He foretold it through his servant Yochanan the Revelator. Of today's Church we read:

KJV: Revelation 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Most people today have the ability to freely consider the facts for themselves and to decide what is true and what is religious fiction. We can study the Bible as never before. Study aids like Strong's Concordance and Dictionary, E-Sword and the like place everything we need right in our hands. The rest is up to us:

CJB: Acts 17:11 Now the people here were of nobler character than the ones in Thessalonica; they eagerly welcomed the message, checking the Tanakh every day to see if the things Sha'ul was saying were true.

Being a spiritually equipped Nazarene, a true talmidim (student) of Adon Y'shua, requires us to think, to read, to study the Word.

There is no "official Nazarene Way Movement" to join. There is no Creed to embrace. No tithes to pay. No rings to kiss.... Just sincerely ask yourself the question: What did Adon Y'shua actually teach and believe? As your understanding develops apply your growing faith and wisdom to your life. The time has come for the Way of Y'shua to resurface and for those who are willing and ready to prepare for the work ahead. This will not be done by founding some church group but by sincere people doing research and correcting their views as determined talmidim. In the end each of us will stand before the Throne of HaShem and give an accounting of what we have done with the gifts we've been given.

So, if there's nothing to join, no one to pay money to, what's a sincere person supposed to do?

Commit yourself to seeking the truth wherever that leads.

Lay human tradition aside and study the Bible using the original languages as much as possible along with solid translations like the Authorized King James Version of the Bible. Use available resources like Strong's Concordance and don't rely on anyone's commentaries (including mine). We are all seeking. We can help each other but you must do the research. You must walk the Way. Compare and contrast and prayerfully seek HaShem, the Echad Elohiym.

1. Study Torah (the Five Books of Moshe) and understand it.
2. Study the rest of the Tanakh and understand what those works teach.
3. Study the Books of the B'rit Hadashah and understand what they actually teach. Confirm that your understanding is in agreement with the Torah. If you see a difference always side with the Torah. The teachings of the B'rit Hadashah explain the Torah, they do not replace or alter it.
4. If you wish study the extra-biblical works like the Protevangelion of James and similar writings. These also must agree first and foremost with Torah.
5. Take your time! Much wisdom comes with time. Don't be afraid to change your views. The goal is Truth not ego.

   The Jewish reform movement propagated by our Master was biblical. Study the Bible and based your faith solely on it. Historic and contextual understanding is vital to cultivate so avoid "proof texts" as you seek to rightly divide the Word of Truth. Through this Way Adon Y'shua grafts Jews and Gentiles into one people. This is not "Two House" religion. There is but one House and everyone in that House has their own tasks and responsibilities. Not all are Levites, not all are hereditary Jews... If you are ready you also will be adopted into Israel. The choice is yours. No one is forced and no one is denied. Whoever comes to Y'shua in sincere faith and obedience will receive liberation. Guaranteed.

   KJV: John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
   3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
