Identifying the Mashiach (Messiah)

666: The Technology Now Exists

King James Version (KJV): And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six -- Revelation 13:16-18

Understandably it was the sincere hope of Adon Y'shua's talmidim that HaShem might bless our master and call him to establish the Theocratic Kingdom in their lifetime. Like most Jews they doubtless recited the Kadeesh portion of their Siddurim daily to this end -- the Kadeesh originated during the Second Temple period so Y'shua's talmidim would almost certainly have recited it as part of their regular prayers):

... May Adonai establish His Kingdom during your life and during your days, and during the life of the whole house of Israel, even swiftly and soon, and say amen.

But that was not to be. The Kingdom was not restored then because the conditions were not yet met as discussed in part four of this study.

The Times of the Gentiles

Since the Kingdom was not established and Yerushalayim was devastated in 70 C.E. the talmidim of Y'shua, like other Jews were forced to leave Eretz Israel and head out into the Pagan nations. The talmidim were persecuted, their teachers were executed and soon the Way was taken over by Gnostics and the Nicolaitans who established the Universal Church.

The Universal Church was allegedly established on the belief that Adon Y'shua was the foretold Mashiach of Israel even though he had not fulfilled the essential prophecies as discussed in previous sections. Once the Vatican's authority was established Rome outlawed all references to Judaism and its Holy Scriptures -- the very documents required to support or deny that belief. Why did they do this? History is clear!

The Roman Papacy was attempting to usurp the authority of Y'shua as Cohen Gadol and establish its priesthood as the sole mediators between humanity and its trinue Nicene godhead. The Vatican condemned all the other then existing forms of the Way and slaughtered all who remained true to the original Way sect. They also declared the Jews to be heretics and worse and outlawed "Judaizing" (worship according biblical direction). We discussed this previously. The Nicene Creed became the foundation of Catholicism and her daughter denomination for the next 1700 years or so.

In the Book of the Revelation John reveals that this state of affairs would continue for seven periods of time before the End of the Times of the Gentiles would arrive. These seven periods divide the then future history of the apostate Way/Christian religion. These times can be roughly calculated as follows:

• The Church of Ephesus: 70 CE - 170 CE (Revelation 2:1)
• The Church of Smyrna: 70 CE - 170 CE (Revelation 2:8)
• The Church of Pergamos: 312 CE - 600 CE (Revelation 2:12)
• The Church of Thyatira: 600 CE - 1520 CE (Revelation 2:18)
• The Church of Sardis: 1520 CE - 1726 CE (Revelation 3:1)
• The Church of Philadelphia: 1726 CE - 1914 CE (Revelation 3:7)
• And The Church of the Laodiceans: 1914 CE - Present (Revelation 3:14)

According to Emissary John and Adon Y'shua Christendom would eventually abandon the truth completely and be "vomited out" of God's presence into the final Seven Year Tribulation wherein they would become known as Babylon the Great, the Great Harlot and her daughters. This final period of the Church age is described like this:

Revelation 3:14 "To the angel of the Messianic Community in Laodicea, write: 'Here is the message from the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the Ruler of God's creation:
15 "I know what you are doing: you are neither cold nor hot. How I wish you were either one or the other!
16 So, because you are lukewarm, neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of my mouth!
17 For you keep saying, 'I am rich, I have gotten rich, I don't need a thing!' You don't know that you are the one who is wretched, pitiable, poor, blind and naked!

The Laodicean Church

Today we find Christendom heading in exactly this direction. Most present Nicene Believers can be divided into one of two categories: Those seeking to demonstrate their own self-righteousness by condemning others and those who say it doesn't matter what one believes, as long as one believes in something/anything. These are precisely the attitudes discussed here.

It is obvious that Christendom is falling today. Church buildings are being turned into Muslim mosques, curio shops and restaurants, or being demolished. Islam has now replaced Catholicism as the world's largest religion and the Protestant denominations are likewise losing membership as well as social relevance and public respect. People now openly refer to Christianity as a religious cult and its foundational doctrines as myths! Christendom is now being vomited out despite the spiritual integrity of some devout Believers.

Messianics, Nazarenes and...

In the midst of this religious upheaval many are seeking the biblical, Jewish roots of the Way. They are in a word, Judaizing themselves. Such seekers are adopting labels like "Nazarenes," "Messianics," "Ebionites," "First Century Believers" and so on. However many of these Judaizers are still clinging tenaciousness to the key Nicene doctrines like the Trinity and the deity of "Jesus." Others are returning to the Gnostic heresies and believing they are finding the original teachings of Y'shua. However some of these seeking people are rediscovering the Torah-based Way sect of Judaism and becoming true talmidim of the Cohen Gadol Y'shua HaNatzrati.

Noahides

Along with these growing movements among Nicene Christians is the rapidly evolving Noahide sects. Many Nicene Christians are joining the new "Messianic" sects looking for biblical religion but realizing the continuing anomos (anti-Torah) presence of the Nicolaitan heresy in these groups. As a result many of these people are rejecting Adon Y'shua rather than seeking to understand his Torah-based teachings. These people are "throwing out the baby with the bath water" as the saying goes.

These Noahides generally find willing rabbis and others and place themselves under their authority, accepting whatever they are told even as they previously accepted the Nicene Creed and their Nicolaitan teachers without question. This is preferable to following the Nicean teachers, however many rabbis today maintain the same spiritual errors Adon Y'shua sought to correct during his earthly ministry.

Many of these Noahides are being taught that mechanically observing the Seven Laws (or the calculated 66 mitzvot contained within them) is sufficient in itself to please HaShem. Some rabbis are teaching that Noahides are forbidden to observe Shabbat at all (even though we had the command before they did! -- Genesis 2:1-3) while others teach Noahides that they can observe Shabbat, but that they must light their Shabbat candles after sunset (something specifically condemned in the Torah and which nullifies the rite according to Orthodox Judaism! -- Exodus 35:3). Some rabbis forbid their Noahide talmidim from wearing tallit, kipa and tefillin, from placing the Shema on their doorposts (with or without mezuzah), they are forbidden from studying certain sections of the Torah (all but the second book of the Tanya etc), and so on. Such rabbis clearly do not want to see the growth of a thriving Noahide community. In effect these rabbis forbid their followers from worshiping the gods of the Goyim and then forbid them from fully worshiping HaShem.

Praise be to HaShem that many of these Noahides and Messianics are open to learning the Truth of the Way Jewish Movement presented by Y'shua in the writings of the B'rit Hadashah. His teachings and those of his talmidim are perfectly harmonious with the Torah when properly understood. I believe these teachings are prophetically significant.

Adon Y'shua offers freedom and full participation to the Ger Tzadikim (the "Righteous Goyim" who approach HaShem):

Galatians 3:26 For in union with the Messiah, you are all children of God through this trusting faithfulness;
27 because as many of you as were immersed into the Messiah have clothed yourselves with the Messiah, in whom
28 there is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor freeman, neither male nor female; for in union with the Messiah Yeshua, you are all one.
29 Also, if you belong to the Messiah, you are seed of Avraham and heirs according to the promise.

Those who are entering into the freedom of Y'shua are finding themselves liberated from the Paganism of the Nicene Church and from the legalism and segregation present in much of the Noahide Movement. This was one of our Master's key doctrines:

Matthew 23:23 "Woe to you hypocritical Torah-teachers and P'rushim! You pay your tithes of mint, dill and cumin; but you have neglected the weightier matters of the Torah -- justice, mercy, trust. These are the things you should have attended to -- without neglecting the others!
24 Blind guides! -- straining out a gnat, meanwhile swallowing a camel!
25 "Woe to you hypocritical Torah-teachers and P'rushim! You clean the outside of the cup and the dish, but inside they are full of robbery and self indulgence.
26 Blind Parush! First clean the inside of the cup, so that the outside may be clean too.
27 "Woe to you hypocritical Torah-teachers and P'rushim! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look fine on the outside but inside are full of dead people's bones and all kinds of rottenness.
28 Likewise, you appear to people from the outside to be good and honest, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and far from Torah.

Through the continuing ministry of Adon Y'shua and those who sought to be his followers throughout the centuries billions of sincere Goyim turned to HaShem according to the knowledge they had received and as the Ruach HaKodesh led. Now as these times are winding down the call is beginning to be heard: "Come out from among her" (Revelation 18:4)! Leave your Pagan beliefs behind! Forsake the legalism of your traditions! Worship Adonai in spirit and in truth.

Adon Y'shua, his Emissaries John and Paul as well as others warned that there would come a point when the conditions would be right for the Times of the Gentiles to end. At that point they said the talmidim of Y'shua would have to make their stand as the Nicean Church, due to rampant hypocrisy and greed, would be cut off from the Tree of Israel (Rom 11, Rev 3:15). That day is now dawning.

The Son of Perdition

As for when this day would come Adon Y'shua and John foretold the corrupt state of the final Church Age as discussed above. In addition to this they warned of the revelation of the Son of Perdition. We turn now once again to II Thessalonians chapter two:

II Thessalonians 1 But in connection with the coming of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah and our gathering together to meet him, we ask you, brothers, 2 not to be easily shaken in your thinking or anxious because of a spirit or a spoken message or a letter supposedly from us claiming that the Day of the Lord has already come.
3 Don't let anyone deceive you in any way. For the Day will not come until after the Apostasy has come and the man who separates himself from Torah has been revealed, the one destined for doom.
4 He will oppose himself to everything that people call a god or make an object of worship; he will put himself above them all, so that he will sit in the Temple of God and proclaim that he himself is God.

When this beast of a man arises Master Y'shua warns us clearly:

Matthew 24:15 "So when you see the abomination that causes devastation spoken about through the prophet Dani'el standing in the Holy Place" (let the reader understand the allusion),
16 "that will be the time for those in Y'hudah [Judah] to escape to the hills.
17 If someone is on the roof, he must not go down to gather his belongings from his house;
18 if someone is in the field, he must not turn back to get his coat.
19 What a terrible time it will be for pregnant women and nursing mothers!
20 Pray that you will not have to escape in winter or on Shabbat.
21 For there will be trouble then worse than there has ever been from the beginning of the world until now, and there will be nothing like it again!
22 Indeed, if the length of this time had not been limited, no one would survive; but for the sake of those who have been chosen, its length will be limited.
23 "At that time, if someone says to you, `Look! Here's the Messiah!' or, `There he is!' don't believe him.
24 For there will appear false Messiahs and false prophets performing great miracles -- amazing things! -- so as to fool even the chosen, if possible.
25 There! I have told you in advance!

We see then that before the coming of Y'shua HaMashiach pseudo-messiahs will be proclaimed. There have been many such "Christs" but this is speaking of the End Times when Rex Mundi (THE Antichrist of whom all others were but dim preshadowings) will be present. The faithful talmidim of Y'shua will know Mashiach is not yet present and yet the people around them will be saying, "The Christ is already come! Look he is here!" The one who will then be present on the world scene will be the Antichrist, the false Messiah, the one who claims to be the anointing and yet who is a deceiver... and most people will embrace his lies.

So fierce will Antisemitism become in those days that the God of Israel will have to intervene if His Elect are to survive! To shorten this now dawning tribulation period the true Mashiach will sent by HaShem to save the Elect, Am Israel (People Israel) and Eretz Israel (their Holy Land).

Our focus with this study is on identifying the Mashiach, not the End Times as such and so this isn't the place to go too deeply into the prophecies, however let's recount what we have determined thus far:

• Prophet Isaiah is clear that "in that day" when Mashiach arises he will battle Israel's enemies and establish the nation as the seat of a global Jewish Kingdom.
• Prophets Daniel, Y'shua, Paul, John and others spoke of this coming Kingdom
• Once this Kingdom is established, the lion will lay down with the lamb and peace will prevail throughout the planet under the Messianic reign. Everyone will know when this occurs.
• Prophet Zechariah (8:23) adds that once Mashiach comes:

"... it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold, out of all the languages of the nations, shall even take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying: We will go with you, for we have heard that G-d is with you."

The world (including the "Ten Lost Tribes") will look to Israel for salvation.

• Rather than establish Israel Adon Y'shua predicted its downfall and coming diaspora (Matthew 24:1-3).
• Adon Y'shua predicted dark days for Israel and the Jewish people were yet ahead.
• Prophet Y'shua even added that, "All these are the beginning of sorrows" (Matthew 24:8).
• BUT he also assured the Jewish people that when in the future, at a time he could not foresee nor forewarn them of specifically (Matt 25:13), at a time when they would be facing utter destruction, at that time, HaShem would intervene and save His people by sending him back as HaMashiach (as described at Psalms 110).
• Adon Y'shua warned that although he did know when this would happen, before the Jews would be redeemed, 'the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet' would take place. This desecration is described in the ninth chapter of the Book of the Prophet Daniel and I discuss it elsewhere. For now I mention that this desecration is caused by a man Prophet Daniel refers to as the "Little Horn" (Dan 8:9)
• Y'shua emissary Paul adds to our knowledge explaining that this "Little Horn," this "Son of Perdition," will oppose and exalt himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God will sit in the rebuilt Temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
• Revelation 12 explains how the Son of the Perdition will carry out this abomination and how, following this act, he will relentlessly attack the Jewish people across the globe and make war against them and overcome them to the very verge of complete genocide. Adon Y'shua showed John that the Jews of this time:

...fled into the wilderness, where she [Israel] hath a place prepared of God, that they [the angels] should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days

Which is to say, for the final three and a half years of the Great Tribulation.

All this takes place before Y'shua HaMashiach rescues Am Israel!

We further read in verse thirteen:

And when the dragon [Lucifer] saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman [Israel] which brought forth the man child

So this is what lies ahead for the Jewish people. This is why as a people they will lose all hope and this loss of hope will, as Rambam said, bring forth their Redeemer.

As the "Suffering Servant" of HaShem -- compare Isaiah 52-54: that clearly references the Jewish people as the Suffering Servant as I discuss in my study Identifying the Suffering Servant -- Am Israel has born the sins of the world. Those sins would now lead to their demise however to save the Elect HaShem will send forth Y'shua HaMashiach and he will deliver them.

This is what the prophets say.

The "storm" that is now brewing has but begun.

This is the persecution that Y'shua as prophet described as "great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be" (Matthew 24:21). So harsh will this now dawning Tribulation be that:

Matthew 24:22 ... except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's [the Jews] sake those days shall be shortened."

We see then that the coming Rex Mundi will proclaim himself to be God (II Thessalonian 2:4):

Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea [history], and saw a beast [the Antichrist/Rex Mundi] rise up out of the sea [of nations], having seven heads [his power will come from seven nations, probably the G 8 – 1)] and ten horns [He will arise from EU: the restored Roman Empire, probably from Greece: Micah 5:5], and upon his horns ten crowns [of Merovingian Europe], and upon his heads the name of blasphemy [Lucifer]
. 2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard [like ancient Greece, Dan 7:6], and his feet were as the feet of a bear [like Medo-Persia Dan7:5], and his mouth as the mouth of a lion [like Babylon, Dan 7:4]: and the dragon [Lucifer] gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority [as Rex Mundi.]
3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast...

The World Ruler will be like but greater than all other rulers and powers in world history.

Verse three references his being assassinated. He will doubtless be murdered to avenge the Abomination of Desolation he will commit in the rebuilt Beit HaMikdash. This blasphemous act will enrage the Jewish people who had accepted him as Mashiach. Realizing his deception too late someone, perhaps an Orthodox Jew in a high place in the world government, will assassinate the Great Leader. Three days later Rex Mundi will rise from the dead as the full bodily incarnation of Lucifer himself. This is why Adon Y'shua warns the Jews that when they see the Abomination of Desolation take place they should immediate flee the Holy City! This isn't the place for this discussion in much more detail, but understand that this is one of two obscure verses that may refer to the US. It is feasible that the horn that dies from the G-8 (the seven horns above) is the US and that the Rex Mundi will restore this broken nation for his own demonic purposes. Personally I accept the more standard understanding of his death and resurrection, in imitation of the resurrection of Cohen Gadol Y'shua. I do NOT believe this is a reference to the U.S. I do not believe the US is mentioned anywhere in the Bible. However if this is a reference to the U.S. it does not bode well for the country!

Revelation 13:4 And they worshiped the dragon [Lucifer] which gave power unto the beast [the Rex Mundi]: and they worshiped the beast [II Thessalonians 2], saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

This is the same thousand two hundred and threescore days or three and half years referenced before, i.e. the second and more destructive half of the soon dawning Seven Year Tribulation period during which, as discussed above, the Jews will flee into the hills and unto Petra for the conclusion of the Seventieth Week of Daniel. The B'rit Hadashah prophets agree with those of the Tanakh perfectly.

The Mark of the Beast

It will be at this point -- following the resurrection of the coming king -- that the Mark of the Beast will become mandatory. It will doubtless be widely used before this, but once the Beast rises from the assassination anyone who refuses will be put to death or worse. This will almost certainly be a implant designed to tract movement and store financial, medical and legal information. According to the prophecies the recipients of this implant will be required to vow loyalty to the New order. Those who refuse will not be able to buy or sell and will be placed under a death sentence for non-compliance (Rev. 13:17).

The Battle of Armageddon

Slightly before the conclusion of this Seven Year Tribulation period (Matthew 24:22) the Rex Mundi (compare Luke 4:6) will be in Jerusalem and hostile armies will be gathering against him, including armies of Jews led by Mashiach Y'shua in the hills overlooking the Valley of Jezreel, known as Tel Megiddo in Hebrew and Tell al-Mutesellim in Arabic. Several of these armies, including those of China, Russia and Ethiopia, are mentioned directly. Again there is no reference to the United States at all. The follow chapter of Prophet Zechariah discusses this Battle of Jerusalem and its aftermath once Y'shua HaMashiach is seated upon the Throne of Zion:

Zechariah 14:1 Behold, the day of HaShem cometh, when thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, but the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3 Then shall HaShem go forth, and fight against those nations, as when He fighteth in the day of battle.
4 And His feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleft in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, so that there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azel; yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah; and HaShem my G-d shall come, and all the holy ones with Thee....
9 ...And HaShem shall be King over all the earth; in that day shall HaShem be One, and His name one.
10 All the land shall be turned as the Arabah, from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem; and she shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananel unto the king's winepresses.
11 And men shall dwell therein, and there shall be no more extermination; but Jerusalem shall dwell safely.
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith HaShem will smite all the peoples that have warred against Jerusalem: their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their sockets, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth...

The one who leads the armies of Israel in this battle will be Mashiach!

For the past 2000 tears Adon Y'shua has been occupying the post of global Cohen Gadol (Mediator between HaShem and humanity).

By the Ruach HaKodesh of HaShem Mashiach is even now preparing his talmidim for what is coming next! Flee Paganism and Legalism! Embrace Torah as taught by Adon Y'shua HaNatzrati! And prepare!

Now HaShem said unto Abram: 'Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto the land that I will show thee.
And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and be thou a blessing.
And I will bless them that bless thee, and him that curseth thee will I curse; and in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed.'
